The four quickly slip inside, Ouragana closing the door behind them. Jocelyn mutters a prayer to Octhanus and her shield begins to glow as bright as a torch, illuminating a twenty foot globe around them.
The only light inside the main room other than Jocelyn's shield is what little moonlight streams in from the two large windows. Immediately to the right of the party is a large table, full of ticking clocks on display. To the left is a large oval table with similar products littering it. Ouragana and Val remember from their time here in the day that there is a desk further left with a stool where transactions are made, and a third table of goods up on the northern wall. There are also doors leading into different rooms, but the mage and amazon never saw anything but this room they are currently in.
==========
Jocelyn casts Light on her small shield.
(OOC: The orange circle on the map is the radius of the light spell, centered on Jocelyn's shield. Val and Areilon can see fine outside of the circle, but the two humans suffer penalties if outside of it.)

"Where to?" She whispers quietly.

"The spider went down the chimney, which part of the house does it lead to, do you think?" Ouragana whispers back.

"There are four doors, shall we try the middle one?" She replies.

"We don't have a lot of time to discuss this," Jocelyn says. "So just pick a door."

Ouragana shrugs. "Middle one, then"

"Middle left." Arei suggests (meaning the 2nd from the left side) with that she moves that way with Val, ensuring the others are close by.

Opening the door that is second to the left, the four peek inside to find...a small storage closet. Its filled with crates and barrels. The few that are open reveal they are full of parts; gears, springs, and other parts useful in making clocks.

"Yep, that's not it," Jocelyn says as she backs out of the room. She moves to the door off to the left, but waits for everyone to follow her before she opens it.

"It was pot luck." Arei admits with a whisper, and follows the cleric.

"Maybe we should open the door quietly and let the dark-seers peek in first, covering our light? That might give us more surprise" Ouragana suggests.
She also pricks her ears, is there any movement or sound outside the door they came in through, e.g. have neighbours or wardens be alerted?

"Works for me." Arei admits.

Val moves to the next door, opening and looking in. "He's probably not here, let move quick."

Ouragana listens carefully, but hears nothing out of the ordinary. She and Jocelyn stand away from the left-most doorway while Areilon and Val open it up to look inside.
Inside is a large bedroom with a single window on the north wall. There's a large bed with simple grey blankets, a dresser on the east wall and a rather gaudy and out-of-place purple rug on the middle of the floor.
More importantly, there are three clockwork spiders here. Despite the darkness, they seem to see the elf and half-orc just fine and immediately start approaching to attack.

Ouragana makes a detect noise check (
1d100): 62, fail.
She hears nothing.
