The Dried Oasis.

Hrothgar waves away the woman's question. "I was not put on this earth to skulk about and I have no talent in it."

[Jenara]

"Very well." She nods. "You up front." She points to Misha, "You at the Rear." She directs Hrothgar, "I will stay with the group." If there are no arguments she continues. "The Village is less than a day away, watch for ambushes." Glancing at Mary she adds, "And pretty girl's by the side of the road are trouble."

"Pretty girls are trouble no matter where they are..." Misha says as he steps up his pace to a light jog moving ahead of the group. His head is constantly in motion, keeping watch along each side.

[Jenara]

Offering Night to one of the Women Hazel guides the horse, going very quiet unless spoken to.

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar moves to the back of the formation. "Aye, pretty girls may be trouble, but if you ask me, thats the best kind of trouble to have."

[Korgen]

The convoy begins to move without a hitch. A few hours would pass without anything happen. At this point, it's about 3 pm. The escorted begin to ask for water.

[Jenara]

"Our supplies are limited." She explains giving what she can, "We need to find water, the Oasis is gone, we need a stream... Mary, do you know of any, you lived here..."

[Korgen]

"I don't know of any waterways besides that oasis." Mary gives a smug expression, clearly eager to keep moving and refuses water.

[Jenara]

Giving the girl a curious look she sips her own water and continues her ride. "Have any of you homes to go to?" She asks "Do you come from the village?"

[The_Muffin_Man]

Hrothgar listens to the idle banter but keeps his eyes on the road and the horizon.

"You know, I thought there were dangerous bandits around here."

[Korgen]

All the women and children say their from the village, aside from Mary who remains quiet. One of the women speaks about the lack of bandits. "The world is big and barren.Even though there seem to be more bandits then good people, it's hard to find them. They seem to know how to hide."

[Jenara]

"They are out here, of that you can be sure." Hazel says raising her voice while watching Mary. "I've seen a few, killed enough." She keeps the group moving, driving them on as fast as she can, she even gives me captive a small portion of water and food.

Hrothgar shrugs and starts to whistle while walking along.

Ahead of the main body of the group, mishap misses the conversation and is able to wholly keep his attention on the road ahead watching possible ambush

[Korgen]

It takes a good few more hours to reach the town of Balise again. The captives quickly run off to greet their families and what not. The captain of the guard steps forward, greeting Hazel. " I thought you weren't going to run in and attack the base?"
