Babushka hops from foot to foot exitedly, but will not go ahead or say where to go...

"Of course!" Locky grins, glad to be useful, calling on Paladine she lets the room fill with light, centering it on Jerrard.

"Left I think, after all, its just a guess and left is as good as any."

Jerrard's white robes illuminate, becoming slightly brighter than a torch, with a range of twenty feet.

"I wonder if we should split up, to cover ground faster," Ulster says.

"Too late, she said left," Thuskar says, impatient to get going.

The party travels thirty feet through the left corridor to find themselves in a square room that is bare save for a stone fountain, carved to resemble a scorpion, which stands in the middle of the chamber--a syrupy, red wine-like liquid drips from the arched tail into a basin hollowed out by the scorpion's body. The walls are covered in stone tablets, each one bearing arcane runes of text. Bones lie strewn everywhere across the floor. The air in the room is shockingly cold.

The only other exit from the room is on the other side of the fountain, continuing left.

Standing by the edge of the room Locky reads the tablets on the walls.

The letters of the words on the tablets squiggle about before her eyes, giving the kender a headache. She cannot read them at all, for they are in the arcane language of magic.

"I'd say ominous over interesting," Ulster comments, glancing at the bones warily.

Moving into the room with the light surrounding him Jerrard glances at the walls and the floor, a concerned look on his face.

"I do not like this, why do I get the feeling that the liquid is blood?" He asks, pulling his cloak around him with his left arm. Seeing Locky look at the stone tablets they catch his eyes.

What sizes are the bones?

The bones are a variety of different sizes. Some are small enough to belong to rats, others are big enough to suggest they might have once belonged to an ogre or something similar. Most fall somewhere in between those two extremes.

Looking even more concerned he moves back a step, can he read the tablets from the entrance?

He can read a few tablets from his vantage point. They appear to be spells. He notices Chill Touch, Spectral Hand and Vampiric Touch...and many more. The entire room seems to be a catalog of every Necromantic spell known at the time it was built.

Imani looks around the room, and out of instinct she hugs herself as the cold seems to wash over her. "Anyone have any idea what all of this is about?" she asks.

"Magic, dark, deathly magic." There is no way mistaking the tone of loathing in the gnome's voice. She takes her bow down, ready to draw an arrrow and fire as soon as a target shows itself.

"Babuskha is in fact correct, it is dark magic, spells of the Black Robes." He doesnt not move any closer, his love of magic was not strong enough to get him killed. "I suggest we do not tarry here for too long, this place chills my bones."

"Come." He says turning slowly, "There is nothing to see here."

"Do you think that pool is dangerous then?" Locky asks as she eyes the red pool with interest. "And the princess doesn't appear to be here." She will move backwards, if the others do so.

Imani nods to Jerrard and the rest as she backs out of the room.
