Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"Thank you Selowen" Erastin says as he walks out into the light. "And thus, each Gem is linked to an individual." He adds, "I believe it was not Sturms, Legend has it he only carried one item of Jewelry. I believe we need to ask a Knight, although most are less tolerant of magic in any form." Rubbing his mustache he pauses for a moment.
"Perhaps the Grand Master? And there still is the question of why no guard was on duty."

Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"Wait, couldn't magic help us track down the person that belonged to the gem?" Galenye asks curiously.
Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"My magic isn't advanced enough for something like that," Selowen says. "And unless Jinali has been holding back on me, neither is hers." She pauses in thought. "But if the gem was crafted specially for one person, I suppose we could ask the man who made it who he sold it to, back in Solanthus."
She turns toward the minotaur. "Did you learn anything useful from that woman?"

Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"I was just going to say it" Karathos answers Selowen. "There was a guard on duty. He is in the infirmary now. He claims to have been struck down by a knight. At least that's what Corya - that's the woman's name - says Sir Charles has told her."
"Are you sure these gems are magical?" he asks Erastin. "Could it not be some strange property of the stone they are cut from? There are very strange things in nature. Just look at me." His head bobs up and down.

"Well, I have no answer, I was wrong with my thoughts, as usual, when it comes to magic." Targin says.

Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"I guess that means we go to talk to the Grandmaster, and maybe we should talk to the man that was guarding this place too," Galenye suggests cheerfully. "Then we can head to Solanthus, providing that is the only place we can find those light gems."
Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"Well then we talk to The Grandmaster, the Guard and then yes, we go to Solanthus." Erastin smiles at the group. "Thank you Karathos your help was most useful, and Targin, your thoughts are always appreciated."
"So, how do we want to do this?"

Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"We start moving our feet," Galenye states with a giggle. "Lead on Erastin. You would most likely know where the Grandmaster is more than the rest of us."
Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"I was thinking maybe we should split up? The Grandmaster won't want to see all of us, not at once and the Injured Guard might be more likely to talk to a small group." He comments as he reluctantly leaves the Tomb once more. "Or we could stay together." He walks back to the main tower.

Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"I can go talk to the injured guard," Galenye says. "Where is the infirmary from here?
Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"Down in the Temple Quarters I presume, and that would be useful, thank you." He smiles, "Selowen, Jinali, perhaps one of you can go with her? The rest of us will talk to the Grandmaster."
Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
Karathos nods. "I certainly shouldn't go see the injured guard. He might think he's having hallucinations, minotaurs being so rare in this area."
(ooc: Luna comes home tonight, can we wait until then? I don't know if Jinali would go with Galeyne)

Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"I'll go with Glayene. Maby this unfurtunated guard could tell us how our thief looks like!" Jinali says.
I am NOT sweet!
Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"I'll go, as well," Selowen offers. "I'm sure between the three of us beautiful women, we'll have that guard talking in no time!"
And so the three girls head toward the infirmary. Once there, they find some clerics, mostly of Mishakal, running the place. After questioning one, she leads them to the guard. "Our healing magic has healed his wounds," she explains, but I'm afraid he's suffered some memory loss, as well."
The guard in question is an older gentleman, lying in bed with bandages wrapped around his head. Upon seeing the three girls, his eyes light up and he sits up. "Goodness me," he says, "more guests? I've never been so popular in my life!" he beams.
Meanwhile, the men, Erastin, Targin and Karathos, make their way up to the Grandmaster's office. They are, however, stopped by a pair of guards standing outside. "Halt," one says. "What business do you have here, candidate?"

Re: Day Three (Trouble Arises)
"I am Erastin Rivenguard. Lord Gunthar is my sponsor." He bows. "I was lead to believe the Tower was at our disposal. I wish to talk to the Grand Master, to discuss the missing sword." He keeps smiling, talking in a friendly relaxed tone.
