"You can bet the current occupants have little to do with Justice but it is worth a look before we put this behind us."

Stepping forward, and gently pushing Goldmoon behind him, moves toward the door.

"Let us try to stay together for safety's sake."

Slipping inside the doors, Laurana and Tas can see well enough in the darkness with their infravision. Dark stains spot the walls. The ten foot wide hall curves before them. Across the doors where they entered, mosses cover an ancient, faded mural. There are single doors on each end of the hall, closed.

Laurana steps quietly towards the mural, keeping as hidden as she can, before she looks to both ways.

"Shall we go Left Tas? And let the others go right, as it appears they are following?"

Goldmoon follows Riverwind into the hall, the staff in her hands now. Can they see Laurana and Tas?

Sturm stays to the rear, sword drawn he keeps an eye on the river and the surrounding area. "I suggest some of us wait here, just in case." He says to Tanis and Flint, watching the others go inside, waiting to see what the Brothers do.

Entering the hall, Riverwind steps to the side, agreeing with Sturm.

The light of Raistlin's staff is still present, shining through the doors and into the hall.

"Is this the best idea?" Flint wonders aloud.

"Magpie, do you know what's in this building?" Tanis asks her. The gully dwarf just shrugs in response.

"Left sounds good." Tas agrees with a snif and rubs his nose. "Splitting up will get it done much faster." He sniffs the air testing it for strange smells as they move.

"Come on then." Laurana steps to the double doors, pushing them open with all of her strength.

Stepping through the door on their left, Laurana and Tas find a twenty square foot room with dark stains streaking the walls. To the east is a sodden wooden door.

Walking close to the wall Laurana stops, touching the damp patch with her blade. "The walls are wet, we are under Newsea.." She thinks a second. "I have got wer already too much today, perhaps we shouldn't open this door.." she says to Tas, glancing at the sodden door before her.

Tas checks the seals on the edges of the door and kneels to look at the wood in order to see if there is water behind the door. If it is watertight, the idea of a flood in the tunnel is on his mind. "We might be able to see if the seal is intact."

As far as the kender can tell, the door is not watertight.
