Back into the fire, eh? And what's your plan if he's a little sore about what happened to his buddy?

"Well IF I'm right, and I usually am! I don't think he will be very broken up about it."
He looks to be thinking for a moment.
"We will just have to see what his eyes do. I doubt he will do anything in the bar, and that will leave us time to plan with the group."

Gregor scratches his chin. Well, let's hope you're right, then... We need to be slick, though. We don't have any magic backup, this time...

The pair coss the bridge through the billowing mist amid the roar of the waterfalls; the damp air and persistent noise muffling both vision and hearing. The stately inn stands before them.

===
Where would he like to go?
-main entrance
-servant's entrance (Pyros has used before which leads upstairs or into the dining area)
-bar entrance from the covered archway

Pyros and Gregor move along the path to beneath the covered overhang connecting the inn proper to the stables. A thick oaken door with a heavy iron latch leads from the late afternoon mist into the cool interior of the tavern. A few steps down into the dimly lit area sends a brief shiver through them from their damp clothes. A dull bustle fills the bar among the score or so patrons at this hour. Behind the counter the burly Haldrake tends to the clientelle, as a dark-haired serving woman (seemingly in her late twenties) carries orders to those seated at tables.

Pyros quickly makes his way to the bar slipping around anyone in the way. "Friend. The mustard works!"

Haldrake blinks as the kender runs up to the bar and blurts out his 'discovery'. His face takes on a serious air as he glances at the other patrons nearby. He motions Pyros down to the end of the bar where there are a couple of clear barstools. Gregor moves in as well, creating a space between the kender and the rest of the crowd to help contain how far their conversation can be overheard. What will you have? Haldrake asks the pair, then in a lower voice to Pyros he speaks quietly. So you have seen one, have you? He says with a smooth face as if not to give anything away to any nearby observers

"I definitely do not want whatever is in that jug that started the altercation between Gregor, and the other guy." Pyros makes a sour face.
"He had quite the short temper. Especially about that beloved Meeklebrau stuff."

He taps his finger to his chin in a thinking pose for a moment.
"How about an ale for each of us? We can then tell you about feeding the bushes. It seems to be on a lot of peoples lists."

========================
Pyros watches for any kind of recognition to that phrase.

Gregor kicks Pyros lightly under the counter when the kender mentions the 'altercation' with respect to the 'mystery jug'. Harmless prank, it were. Not even worth mentionin'. he mumbles, deflecting.

Haldrake's eyes pass between the two of them and he serves up a pair of ales, the same as the smooth, pleasant brown ale Gregor had earlier that day. Haldrake's eye quirks at the mention of 'feeding the bushes'. What's that now? That's an odd way to say that... sure you don't mean 'water the plants' or something?

"No, no. I mean what I say, and I say what I mean." He takes a looooooong draw from the ale.
"Glad you are over that serving me cider nonsense." Takes another sip and lets out a nice loud "Ahhh"

"Where is that fellow Ledalar? Or has he been crossed off the schedule list?"

Ledalar? He normally works the day shift, I'm here at this time. But it's funny you ask... He glances around a little and holds up a finger to wait. He fills a couple of orders for the barmaid and returns to the conversation once she has stepped away. Said he had an errand to run, but wasn't back by the time I started my shift... why?

"I don't think he will be showing up for any more shifts. He got a bit hairy." Pyros rubs where the jaws were around him.

Pyros will be talking in a very measured pace, watching Haldrake's reactions.
If it seems favorable he will say the next line too.
" Now he is feeding the bushes forever"
