Once the dragon kills the two in the room, she will go on a rampage looking for her kids.

She is a delusional dragon looking for her kids which are stolen from her by those pesky humanoids. It is the only direction to take it without Jaded trying to force an outcome. - The dragon's mental problems are unleashed upon an unready keep full of humanoids that will attempt to stop her panic. Any chance of conversation ended when the dragon attacked Laurana.

Just thought of something, too - If the second dragon is gone with the army, the people at the keep really are dead. There is nothing to stop her from using her full powers.

I think you're forgetting the fact that she's kind of trapped in that room, due to her size. Verminaard intentionally bricked her up in there, not only to watch the children, but to keep her from getting out.

He's right about one thing, though. The only thing that's stopping Flamestrike from incinerating Riverwind and the others is the children's safety. Once they are gone, the party has no further protection against her. She may be old, but she's still quite powerful.

The bricks would not hold against a dragon trying to get out going by 2e rules. It makes for good drama, but the lack of talk on the dragon's part leaves you with no choice in the matter. You have an insane powerhouse with no counter for it. :P

And, she is a protective mother which means that she will not stop until she finds the kids.

Well, yes, she will get out sooner or later. Don't forget though, the fortress was built by dwarves. It's quite sturdy.

I'm just trying to make sure I have all of this right.

People going to rescue Tanis and Flint
Raistlin
Caramon
Riverwind
Tika

People going to organize the women and children
Elistan
Laurana
Magpie
Tasslehoff

People going to the east tower
Gilthanas
Sturm

And so far Eben and Goldmoon are undeclared at the moment. Is that right?

Why does Eben taunt Laurana by the way? Meta game, it seems like he is targeting her character.

What men? Flint and Tanis? Or the slaves?

Group 1 (led by Raistlin, the red arrow) is going to free Flint and Tanis, then go and disable the north gate. They will then head for the courtyard.

Group 2 (led by Elistan, the blue arrow) is going to stay with the women and children the party has already freed. When the time is right, they will then lead the women and children up to the courtyard.

Group 3 (led by Gilthanas, the green arrow) is going to head to the east tower, try and break into the armory, and then find the plainswomen that Elistan spoke of. They will then lead these women to the courtyard.

Assuming all three groups succeed in their mission, then they will all meet up in the courtyard with the women, children, and their missing party members. The male slaves, who are working the mines by the courtyard, will see that their women and children are safe and then turn on their captives. In the chaos, the party will try and lead all of the slaves south, into the mountains. The armies (who left a little while ago through the north gate) will likely be called back, but if group 1 is successful in damaging the north gate, they will be stuck and won't be able to pursue the party for many days.

No reply to the Eben thing... Argh? :( Seriously, I am curious why the NPC is dogging a player.

If you've read the books and/or the modules, you would understand Eben and his motives.

If you haven't read either, I'm not about to start posting spoilers here.
