I did get the package, and I wanted to send an appropriate "thank you" but haven't had the time yet to do so, or to open the disk.

Tomorrow might be a good opportunity. If the winter storm bearing down on us lives up to the predictions, I may have a lot of free time on my hands, once the shoveling is finished.

Got a foot of snow at my house, drifting to about 18" in places. Took two and a half hours for three of us to shovel out. I spent a good chunk of that time doing the end of my driveway three times, because once the plows finally got there, they kept covering up what I'd already shoveled.

But at least you got power, no sitting around in darkness and cold.

That is true. It's supposed to be very cold tomorrow, although it is unseasonably warm today (49 F, 10 C) and raining hard, so all the snow is melting.

We're having extremely mild winter weather here. It doesn't feel like winter at all, temperatures are 10-15°C during the day (in the 50s F). Our National Weather service says it's going to last as long as the cold lasts on your side of the Atlantic, the weather systems being connected.

Same here. High yesterday was 49F (10C). Walked out of my house this morning to 7F (-14C).

Fifty seven hours on my time sheet last week, which means I was at the office well over sixty hours. Not much time to breathe.
But I did get to watch the Superbowl.
And now I sit down to post and there's a cat on my shoulder who doesn't want to let me type. :)
