Act 2 Scene 5: "Cavern of the Crown of Souls" (Game Thread)

[Nocturno]

You know... he is a Kender.

Being full out, he looks up and makes some faces at them. When that illicits no response. He will pull out his Hoopak slowly, and start to wind up.

He won't fire yet.

[Jerrard]

Karl gently places his hand on Pyros's shoulder, "Wait, we will bring these fellows to rest but when the others join us."

[Jenara]

"I guess we follow. Everyone go ahead, Pytor keep Pyros under control, I will cover our rear." Mira enters the whole last, making sure everyone gets down before her, easily rappelling down the rope when it comes to her turn.

[TristenC]

Pyros makes faces at the undead and even begins to wind up his hoopak to attack, but still they remain still. Karl cautions the Kender as the others respond to Pytor's announcement and begin to descend (barring any objections).

Mira slides down the steeply sloped passage, using the rope to control her descent, though the oiled chute leaves a grime on her clothes as it does on all others who descend this way. The party moves towards the cavernous new room as they contemplate their next move...

Checking that the rope, their way back, is secured, Jerry says to Merrik, "Shall we?" and motions towards following the others.

[Jenara]

"I need a long warm bath, a nice warm robe and to sleep for three days straight." Mira comments to herself as she comes across the sight before her, "Thoughts everyone?"

[Jerrard]

"Well umm." Karl coughs as Mira approaches, "Don't they look like guardians? We would post men like that on the wall of a castle, waiting to strike."

[Nocturno]

Pyros looks in his pockets.
(Does he still have those extra clothes?)

Pyros searches his pouches and finds the other clothes still there

[Nocturno]

While everyone else is discussing, he quietly works on fashioning a scare crow out of the extra clothing.

If not stopped, he will work it out into the open.

[Jenara]

Mira watches the Kender out of the corner of her eye, she wasnt sure WHAT he was doing, but his crazy ideas seemed to work!

Jerry and Merrick start to catch up with the others.

As everyone watches, Pyros fashions a scarecrow of stuffed clothing bits held together with strings and ribbons. He hangs it on the end of his hoopak and waddles it out into the open, dancing it around. So far the skeletons do not seem to react...

Mira steps behind him, keeping a reasonable distance.

He will put his puppet out on the bridge.
