Elsa looks at Pyros in surprise. I don't know what you think I cam do!? I've never dealt with anything like this before.

Artanis will continue his systematic search of each cell for a secret passage, while pretty much ignoring the arguing. If Yasir is infected, he is beyond the ranger's healing skills - especially in this dungeon. He is going to rule out other avenues of escape before getting involved in the discussion and trying to bend bars - which is well beyond his meager strength.

"Well I thought you might be able to heal him or something." Pyros gives her a big smile. "I've no idea how that magic stuff works!"

"Yasir, Art. You know about these things, how long would it take for a bite to.... Do.what it's supposed to do?" She asks with a worried glance at Yasirs arm. "If.. There is someone here who knows if the blood is infected. If we had him tested before it takes effect.." What was she saying? She'd... No she just found Yasir. Dammit.

"We need to speak to Rautant, he seemed to know all about this stuff!!! If only I could squeeze out of here!" Pyros will then move off to check the cells with Artanis.

cross will pipe in while searching the walls "anyone know any herb lore. i have an idea...a bit of a long shot but we know the things don't like the purple flowers. i think pyros had some. what if we made a poultice for his wound out of the flowers. my concern is, would it have any adverse affect i think i remember something about them being poisonous to eat but maybe it would fend off chance of infection"

The warrior whispers something to the bard, but he doesn't look happy about it.

Artanis checks the next room just south of the first on the interior side. It is also empty, aside from the filthy bed and waste-bucket.


Healing wounds and infections are difderent, Elsa says, watching Yasir carefully. Bit this is completely different... I wouldn't even know where to start. It's like a snakebite. You could heal the wound, but that doesn't cure the poison... I don't even know if something like that can be cured... she finished for the Kender's ears only. When Cross mentions the flowers Elsa confronts him. No! Those things are really poisonous! If you eat them they can be deadly but if you put it right on an open wound his chances would be even worse! she looks more worried than angry. We don't even know if he is infected yet... The halfling watches him with open concern.

As Artanis finishes his rounds in that cell and is on his way to the other he calmly, matter of factually says: "If he is indeed infected, it will take a day to set in. But it won't manifest itself until the full moon. Which, based on what we just saw is now. My guess would be if he is infected, at the next full moon he'll change. What is the name of that flower you have, Pyros?"

Artanis chuckles at Pyros' attempt to remember the name of the plant. "May I see it?"

Pyros will dig through his pockets looking for some Wolfsbane.

Pyros searches for the flowers, but it seems he gave them all to the odd man Rautant yesterday...

Artanis has a brief look of concern on his face, but then devoids himself of all emotional expression. "Unfortunate. Those might have been able to help if they were what I thought them to be. Perhaps the bars can be bent enough to allow you or Cal to squeeze through. And then open this gate."

Artanis will then move to the next cell and go through his search mission. Inside, Artanis is saying in his head: Ratzafratza, ratzafratza! I thought we had the cure with us. Well, come next full moon, Mira will be in for a wild night with Yasir. Hope she likes really hairy guys.
