Re: WotL OOC Thread II
Thanks Jaded.
You work really hard at this, I think.
It shows up in the quality of the the games you run. i.e. excellent.

Re: WotL OOC Thread II
mgbevan I saw you are giving a try at DMing. Congratulations!
And good luck.
I'd love to join but as it is with the pressure at work I barely post in time in the games I'm already participating in. But don't worry, with the mistakes I do, Tulbas might find himself dead sooner than he would have assumed.

Re: WotL OOC Thread II
Is it just me that feels like today went really quickly?
Today our group manage to:
Meet up
Walk to a building
Find nothing of interest in the building
Go home (hopefully)

Re: WotL OOC Thread II
I guess searching can take a long time.
Re: WotL OOC Thread II
You left out some steps.
Meet up (at two different inns)
Walk to a building
Remember they forgot their weapons
Walk to Arulia's house
Walk to the mageware shop
Walk to the High Hand
Walk back to the building
Carefully search each room of the building for traps (which takes about 5-10 minutes for each attempt)
Find nothing of interest in the building
Go home (which will consist of walking home everyone without a permit)
But yeah, more players means more posts means faster chapter. There were days where I'd wake up to find nearly an entire page (which is 15 posts) of new posts since my last one, which is pretty unprecedented in any of my games.

Re: CH. 9: Winter is Coming
{OOC: Clarification, please: Are we leaving any of that kit at Arulia's place?}
Re: WotL OOC Thread II
Just wanted to add one step:
Meet up (at two different inns)
Walk to a building
Remember they forgot their weapons
Forget couple of group members behind
Walk to Arulia's house
Walk to the mageware shop
Walk to the High Hand
Walk back to the building
Carefully search each room of the building for traps (which takes about 5-10 minutes for each attempt)
Find nothing of interest in the building
Go home (which will consist of walking home everyone without a permit)
I'm going on vacation from 10 Match to 28 March. I'll try to post but if I fail to post every other day, feel free to NPC Tulbas as you see fit. In general he tries to avoid Magnus as much as possible and won't go alone on tasks as he learned his lesson.

Re: WotL OOC Thread II
Did we ever get around to checking the bow (and other equipment) for magical properties? I seem to recall everything we found was either mundane or poor quality, but you never know until you check.

Re: WotL OOC Thread II
I don't think so. The party discussed leaving some gear at Gregeddin's house and at Darga's old place (despite not having a key for it), but nobody said anything about leaving stuff at Arulia's. (Not sure her family would like that idea.)Chris1234 wrote:{OOC: Clarification, please: Are we leaving any of that kit at Arulia's place?}

Nobody has Detect Magic currently memorized, so I assume they did not.Haahque wrote:Did we ever get around to checking the bow (and other equipment) for magical properties?

Damn... survived the cultists twice only to be killed by the priestess for talking backHaahque wrote: "Really, I'm rather disappointed that with all your great law and order you allowed two thieves slip into the city and wouldn't even offer help to track them down in the name of justice."
Re: WotL OOC Thread II
Hopefully the next party Haahqae puts together won't have any assassins in it again as a result. Again.
Re: WotL OOC Thread II
Well it would follow Haahqae's current luck streak.
And you know, Haahqae hasn't got the entire party killed yet. Now with the other players trying pretty hard to accomplish this, Haahqae has to step up his game!

@Bish: Nice Tulbas speech!
@Jaded: Just to make sure no one is waiting for me, Shima doesn't intend to say anything in the temple unless directly addressed.
