"I know a bit, yes. Most of my experience is in the wilderness, but animals and people leave tracks wherever they go, you just have to know where to look."

He winks at her and goes back to studying the area.

Searos looks around and starts to examine bits of the room along with the fireplace.

"Maybe there is something interesting in this room. Who knows, maybe we'll find a secret passage leading to a dragon's hoard, minus the dragon."

Loosening two more stones the three of them find a small leather bag, tied at the top, it is printed with the label 'PS'.

"Well well, what have we here? Care to do the honors, Fingers?"

He takes a cautious step back from the thief and pouch.

Searos shrugs and opens up the pouch while looking over at the group, "Who do you think PS is?"

Searos "oooh"s to himself as he sees the green stones and pulls out his jeweler's loop to examine them.

"What do we have here, pretty?"

From the cut and the finish Searos can tell they are Emeralds, probably worth around 100-125gp each.

"We should ask the locals if any of the known inhabitants of this manor had the initials PS" Kim answers to Searos's remark. "So, what did you find?

Echo crosses her arms across her chest as she watches the others. "Looks like there was a little bit of a treasure after all."

"Indeed." Brax responds shifting from foot to foot. "Funny place to find it though."

"There's a little bit of treasure, but to be honest, I'm not sure how much they are worth. I'll have to find someone in town who can appraise it which shouldn't be too much of a problem. If its anything like Greyhawk though, there's generally a contract price for appraisal that is a small proportion of the value of the gemstones. We'll have to see once we get out of here."

Searos puts the gems away and pockets his loop.

"So, where do we go next?"

Kim leaves the room, enters the next one and looks around to see if there's an explanation for the extra plaster, e.g., evidence of there having been stucco on the ceiling.

Gunter follows Kim into the next room and again searches for footprints or anything similar in the fallen plaster.

Searos shrugs and follows along as well, hand resting uneasily on his broadsword. He scans the room for anything odd looking like little hiding places for more treasure.
