That would help to reduce the potential damage, I guess, but increase the area affected...

I got to say, the elven nations are lucky that the Draconians are trying to kill everybody instead of simply taking over the Elven lands. I doubt people would help the Elves, otherwise.

Oh, right, I got two names mixed up. I thought the man was the seeker they met right at the beginning of the adventure, who forced her to reveal the powers of the staff. So I need to modify my post...
