Too small for facehugger eggs. :)
Although someday I would love to throw the Aliens at a PC party, just to see how they deal with them. The only thing stopping me is that everyone has seen the films, so there are no surprises to be had.

You forget that not everyone who reads or plays fantasy also goes to the movies.

@ HS: That's what I figured. Different location, now.

@ Breila: Sorry for any confusion. It's just that sometimes I think in terms of movies. :)
Like right now, in Saltmarsh, Martin's channeling Errol Flynn. Or maybe George Hamilton.

For no reason at all, except that I am curious:

Your characters had never seen anything like the creature they fought in the last chamber, but did you, my players, recognize it? Or was my description too obscure?

I'm going to be on vacation for the next week so we're going to have to NPC my character for a bit!

This has nothing to do with Borderlands. I am only posting it here because I want to keep the lookup somewhere, simply because I found it hard to believe.

I was just rolling up a PC on invisiblecastle.com. Rolled 4d6, keep the lowest 3, six times.
And the roll came up as follows (click the link below to see the original result):

4d6.takeHighest(3)=14, 4d6.takeHighest(3)=13, 4d6.takeHighest(3)=16, 4d6.takeHighest(3)=11, 4d6.takeHighest(3)=15, 4d6.takeHighest(3)=12

Out of order, sure, but that's an 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.

I don't even want to try to compute the odds of that.

And the dice apparently are quite fond of me tonight, as the next roll came up:
7, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, which would also have been pretty surprising were it not for the previous roll.

The fact is, Inivisible Castle rolls millons of rolls every day (or so I assume). This way, even the low odds come out. And sometimes, you're the lucky one to get them.

If these rolls were meant to be for the Valckenburg stories, I would prefer to take the second, it makes for a more interesting character, especially in your hands ;-)

I wasn't planning to use either set for Valckenburg. Thought the first was too strange and the second too overpowered.
