"Well then, let's continue on this floor" Kim says, leading the way into the hall ahead.

Echo rolls her eyes at Brax, and her apparent naivety to sarcasm, but she gets up and follows after the rest of the group.

"Agreed." Brax mutters walking on, mace in hand.
"Mistress Vee, I was thinking about your idea, the armor is indeed magical, yet.. I think the Undead we encountered were quite old.."

Walking down the corridor the group find two doors, both rotten and hanging off the hinges. The sun glares through the two broken windows, leaving streams of light on the ground.

Kim does a quick survey of the room, looking for anything emanating magical energy.

There is nothing magical in either room, in fact both seem quite ordinary living rooms, overtaken by vegetation and time.

Searos follows after everyone else.

"I really hope we find this mythical treasure soon. Sooner my pockets are lined with gold, the sooner we can leave."

Full Plan of the ground floor:
Ground.jpg
The first room is bare, the only thing of any note in the room is a clump of tiny red mushrooms apparently growing out of the floor all around the fireplace in a roughly semicircular formation.

The second room, is empty as well, in fact the only item of interest is the amount of plaster lying on the floor, it seems far greater than anywhere else in the house.

"Well, these rooms are exciting," Echo says absently. "I say we try our luck with the next level."

"Yes," Amon agrees. "There doesn't seem to be anything else here."

"I'm not so sure Kim says, pointing at the semicircle of mushrooms. "In the old superstition of my country, such a circular formation of mushrooms is called a »witches' ring«. Something unusual might be at its center." Kim moves carefully closer, looking at both the floor and the ceiling, and eventually steps into the circle, carefully avoiding to harm any mushroom, to inspect the fireplace.

Avoiding the mushrooms, which appear natural. Kim notes the fireplace appears to have been disturbed recently. Missing stones are evident to the back of the fireplace.

Brax stands outside mace in hand.

Gunter kneels down and peers at the mushrooms, again, being careful to avoid actually touching them.

((ooc: can i tell what kind of mushrooms they are? Poisonous, etc.))

The mushrooms seem altogether normal at first glance, if he recalls correctly they are edible.

____

Gunter passes a survival check.

"The mushrooms look normal to me...might even be good on a salad..."

He carefully steps over to the fireplace, inspecting the the floor around it to see if anybody has been through here recently.

Kim makes way for Gunter, stepping over the mushrooms again if necessary. "Are you a tracker?" the words convey genuine interest.
