I did think Angel should have a symbol of Emdalus, my idea matched yours, a classic tower fortification, much like an old coin http://www.ancientresource.com/images/r ... cr2001.jpg

Oh, and the pendant Liri is wearing - not a "full" holy symbol since she is no cleric - would of cause be a representation of the caduceus, the winged staff with two snakes winding around it, of Hermeus. It's engraved on a simple silver medallion.

Yeah, I've been using a triple sheaf of wheat as Liquitus' symbol. That's why the staff and flail both have that design.

Emdalus, I picture a Kite shield with a tower emblazoned on it....

Cronus is a tough one. He's very much the paragon of fatherhood (Wisdom coming with age, thus history, etc) so I can see a Sword crossed over top of a shepherd's crook? Perhaps with a quill between the two? IIRC from the description he was a big deity in the legions, so a martial aspect would certainly appear IMHO. I can also picture an open hand (Guiding with a strong, fatherly hand rather than a closed fist.) What's guiding me is when I think of Cronus I imagine patience, guidance, and strength; both physical and of character.

What about something to symbolize the three stages of life (Like in the riddle of the sphinx?): Youth, Adult, and Elder?

My own musingsfor Cronus were going two different ways. One was more abstract, the other was a bit of a joke. The first idea I considered a key. Key to knowledge, key to the house, key to the household money. The second I considered was a sandal, on account of Cronus has retired to a sandy peninsula at the foot of the Godsmount. On cold days the sandal could be worn with socks.

I had forgotten about the three sheaves of grain. That works pretty well for Liquitus, but there needs to be more there, to accentuate the brewing process a bit.

How about having the sheaf of wheat bound by a hops vine?

I know I am violating the two-day "shot-clock" rule for in-game posts, it having been three days since everyone else posted.
I've been working late at the office then going home to work on an art project all week. I'll post tomorrow night.

I have been wondering why Angel cared about the torch, seeing as it has had no apparent affect on the creature's behavior. It occurred to me just now that Jen might have missed the fact that Bastian has the cave lit up like daylight with the Continual Light coin in his hand.

Back to the holy symbol discussion - how about a sundial for Cronus?

[OOC] What looks like a corral? There is a corral in the southwest corner of the chamber, where the mud pool is. What Angel is shooting at is in the next chamber, beyond the barricade you just took down. [/OOC]
