Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"Well, okay, I guess," Imani says as she stands from where she was sitting.
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"Interesting." Jerrard says "Seera and Qwendeel, we need to get the Dragon out, even for a very short time, can you think of anything that might do that?"
Rubbing his beard he considers the spells he knew, the Mirror Image he learn't from the Shroom might work, give him a chance, but they needed a way of distracting it, just so Locky could cast the spell. When the Elves were free they would have help.

Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"Normally, the dragon has only left its lair to hunt," Seera says. "So if we wait long enough, it will leave eventually on its own. However, it always leaves behind dangerous, magical traps to protect its lair while it's gone."
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
On the ship: Does Imaran show any signs of slowing down the vessel after an hour or so?
There's more to me than meets the eye...
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
It's actually been longer than an hour by now, but no, the ship remains at its current speed and the captain gives no new orders to do otherwise.
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"But Lockys invisibilty will have ended, which of course isnt an issue, because the Dragon won't be there." He gives the group a glance and nods, "It would probably be safer, Locky could try to dispel the bars and some of the magic."

Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"How often does the dragon leave to hunt?" Imani asks.
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"Every couple of days, usually," the leader says. "Sometimes it will go hunt for ships, other times it will seek out prey here, beneath the surface. It's never gone for more than a few hours, though."

Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"And when was the last time it left to hunt?" Imani asks. "I just want to know how long we are going to be waiting here."
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"It was at least two days ago," Seera says. "It went to attack a ship that was passing by."
"Yeah, that was the ship I was on," Temeral says plainly.

Babushka seeks out Imaran and asks him: "Captain, when do you plan to return so we can pick up those willing to risk their lives for your cargo?"
There's more to me than meets the eye...
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
The captain replies with a sour face. "The cargo that the shoal elves took anyway? We had a deal. You and your friends were allowed passage on my ship and we agreed to hide you from the authorities; and in return, the Dimernesti menace would be dealt with. Instead of dealing with it, however...your friends jumped to the side of the elves, leaped into the ocean with them, and still allowed them to take half our cargo. And then, as I recall, you volunteered this ship and crew to fight their dragon!" Imaran shakes his head. "I have no intention of returning for them. In fact, you should consider yourself lucky I don't throw you and your remaining companions overboard for betraying us!"
Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"Ah" Babushka replies. "This is how you see it." Then she looks Imaran in the eye and begins speaking in Gnome. Even if the words are not understandable, it is clear from their sound that they are a curse.

Re: Voyage of the Horizon Seeker
"Then we probably only have a short wait." Locky says cheerfully. "I have to ask Paladine for my spell, that will take sometime, and them when I am done, we can see if the Dragon has gone."
She looks at the group "Is that ok?"
--------
Jerrard nods slowly. "Suprisingly, it seems like a sensible plan."

" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

Imani gives Locky a nod.
