I just was browsing a fantasy art site and found this picture (click for larger version):

And when I saw it, my immediate thought was "Oh, look. Someone painted a picture of Salia."

I can only agree with that.

The clohes are more baroque than late antiquity, but otherwise, everything fits.

Yeah, the clothes and the sword are kind of out of date, but the face really caught my eye. That's pretty much exactly what I imagined her to look like.

Oh, and we're waiting for a post from Breila in the game thread.

Last time I looked, there was only the OOC part.
If you edit the post later, it doesn't show as new post, so I miss it.

Not for nothing, but it just occurred to me that it might be interesting to see how a PC party would handle an encounter with the xenomorphs from the Alien movies.

The setup could be similar to what you guys are seeing right now. The ogre got hit by a face-hugger, and is gestating. As the PCs arrive, a chest-burster pops out of the ogre, and as they go into the cave a bunch of adult xenomorphs start coming out of the walls.

That's not what's happening here, and I'd never throw something so blatantly copied into my game, but it would be interesting. :)

I would imagine someone in the party would ask the waitress what did that ogre have and once she responded they would say "That's what I ordered!" for which multiple people in the party would all say "Check Please!" :)

Headshot wrote:[OOC] sorry for the delay in not posting been having internet issues lately and was able to be back on line yesterday. I used the die roller thingy for casting a cure light wounds I rolled a 3 to heal Angel but have no idea how to post it here....

To post your results when using InvisibleCastle.com:
Follow the instructions for setting up your dice roll.
After clicking on the "Roll the Dice" button, you will be taken to a page that says: "Die Roll for (name)"
Beneath that, you will see your results, and beneath that, a line reading "Formatted Versions".
Go to the bottom line, that says "BB Code" and copy the grey text, including the brackets, and paste it into your post.

Your post will then have a line in it that looks like this:

Re: Out of Character Chat

I was going to say something yesterday in the game thread about the holy symbol of Cronus that Papa carries, and I realized that I never decided what the holy symbol of Cronus is.

Then to my further embarassment, I realized I hadn't come up with holy symbols for any of the three gods I had detailed for the campaign (this is not to say that these three gods are more important than any of the others, just that their priesthoods haven't been detailed yet, either because there has been no need to do so or because they are standard gods who someone else has already detailed).

So, I am looking for suiggestions for holy symbols for:

Liquitud, god of brewing and fermentation

Emdalus, god of guardians, bridges and fortifications (I kind of have an idea for this one already, but I'd like to know if anyone comes up with something better than a gatehouse/tower).

Cronus, god of fatherhood, aging and history/

So, it's your campaign, too, so how about some suggestions?

Believe it or not, Ismaels-Legacy and I became friends when I told him there is a family-owned beer brand in Swabia that uses exactly the three ears of grain (in this case, spelt) that he has been using as symbol for Liquitus.
one of the types of beer they make, this is a small serving

Can't really think of anything beyond an hourglass, but that's more with time not aging, fatherhood, or history, but i was kinda picturing father time when I read this.
