Thoreau stands up and arches his back, puffs his fur outward and growls menacingly.. ready to defend Garroth if need be...
Anyone with the most rudimentry knowledge of animals would know that Garroth's cat has detected something and is staring off into the darkness at at... "Goblin" the cat utters amidst its growl in broken Elven..

Eariel watches the Drow without expression for a moment. Finally she speaks, My first duty is to my men and the citizens of Bordertown. That means getting them home as quickly as possible; it's fifty some-odd miles to Bordertown once we reach the old road. Some of the rations and supplies we had will be needed for the trip, but we'll have to travel light. Other things... she cuts her eyes towards the sack of coin, are secondary. She shrugs, Who knows... the goblins from the other lair may retrieve everything before a Patrol can return... She gives Linar a significant look.
[Linar recalls there was a chamber full of supplies the party found on the way in.]
Katten continues to speak to the elven women. Dillosel looks at her with grim determination and slight hope. Indendien looks between them with concern. Maybe I should explain... the lair we stalked was their main hold... there were many worgs... dozens... Casting her eyes to the recovering Minotaur and the injuries borne by the others she continues. Dillosel glares at her, He may have been moved to their other lair... we don't know... many of us were moved around after, always blindfolded. Dillosel flinches.
When Nocturno continues, Indendien lays a hand on his arm. I did not mean to offend. The High Ones are always so bound by duty... we of the Forest Way must each choose our own path. I meant only that we too saw the need and were not prepared... Looking to the carnage all around, she finishes with Clearly you were.
When Katten speaks again to the young soldiers, they seem a little surprised. Oh.. No, don't worry about it. he shakes her hand with a weak smile. There has always been kind of a... mild tension between Bordertown and the Forest-dwellers... We just... We're just here to protect everyone, you know? I mean, we hold the road against the southern kingdom. It's kind of an isolated life most of the time, but we work with the elves of Quel Salas and some other Guardians. Hew and I are new to The Guard, but the Sargent could tell you more.
Hew makes a grim face regarding the other goblins, We have to wait orders. Once we get the others home I'm going to apply for the recovery patrol they send, but I don't know how long it will take for them to send us back... and as for sending a force to deal with the other goblins... he shakes his head in frustration, They'll never send us. Bordertown is too undermanned as it is, If anyone comes it will be Crown forces... and that would take weeks.
The rest of the group notices the new attention of those to the East. Chatter falls off and the others can hear something moving that way, almost as if scrambling about in search of something.

"We are also quick to take offense, as I am sure you already knew too cousin." He will try to use "cousin" as a term of endearment to the Forest Elf, to show he holds no grudge.
Upon noticing the commotion.
Nocturno will draw his longsword and swiftly make his way over to that side.
Trying to not look at the Minotaur as he walks by.
He will whisper "What do we have here?"

"As you say," replies Linar. "There are supplies on the way out. I can show you. Where is the other lair?"

Boyd walks into the larger room, hefting the worg carcass and bloody to the elbows. "Late as I am to this confab, it bears saying that fifty miles may sound like a long trip, but it is really only three days march. Possibly even two, if you push hard. So you can probably go light on the supplies.
"But that silver. I can not begin to imagine what those goblins planned to do with it, but I can say it would be best for the folk round here for them not to have it. Group this size...we could easily split it up amongst us and carry it away. Better that than letting the rest of the tribe recover it."
While he speaks, he sets about separating the worg's hide from its carcass.

"Dillosel, we will find him, we will. You have my word. Come with us to the Forest, we will find Signa, organise a raid." She takes her hand and squeezes it hard. "We need to heal, Dran is hurt badly." Looking up at the assorted humans and elves she nods at each suggestion. "Travel light, make it home safe. Perhaps what will come of this is less tension more understanding." She bows.
Her ears pricking up she moves to the east, following Nocturno and dragging the Elves with her. "Nisserr.." She growls showing her teeth.

Thoreau repeats "Goblin" in a Elven, softer and clearer... as Nocturno asks the rhetorical question, not understanding the nuance.

Eariel and Linar continue their discussion, The other prisoners say it lies to the East, and even that there are likely two more. They kept them blindfolded during the march here, but the Wild Elves were able to find the main lair before capture… I think that place is probably beyond all of us, even at our best and with lady luck walking arm-in-arm… But if there is a second lair, it is surely smaller… unfortunately I don’t know where it is.
When Boyd chimes in, the half-elven Sargent looks between him and the Drow. That was my point. We need to travel light, but we will need some food and equipment to make it safely. I have civilians to escort also. Weakened as they are they cannot move quickly, but they will not are my responsibility to protect. As for the silver, that is what I was implying; but as a soldier of Bordertown I can’t just tell you to take it outright. Boyd begins his skinning, plenty of light provided by the Illusionist’s staff.
Indendien gives the elven cleric a small, knowing smile. It is as you say, ‘cousin’. Moving to join the others at the east passage, Nocturno draws his sword. His question is answered softly by a small voice somewhere nearby.
Eariel hefts her sword as she notes the tension in others to the East. She silently motions to Hew and Tag, who set their loads down quietly and draw steel. The human civilians move behind the soldiers, watching nervously. The small folk move to the west edge of the chamber, also taking not of the goings on.
Dillosel squeezes Katten’s hand in return before the Feliz moves off to the Eastern passage.
Those near the passage can see that it moves off to the southeast, widening as it does. Gradually the searching noise ends, a tense silence following…

Bow drawn Katten motions for the others to follow, "Dran." Her voice in a whisper she points at Dillosel and hopes the Wolf gets the idea. friend she wills to him and sets off down the passage before the others.

"Pah. You do not need to tell me to take silver out of a goblin's den. That there is what you might call an axiom. Just trying to figure out the logistics, as it were."

Dran looks to the Wild Elf when Katten points and then back to her. He doesn’t seem to understand what she means, but she is able to make him stay put as she moves Eastward. Nocturno advances as well, keeping pace just in front of the feline archer.
The two round the corner to find a divided chamber with large natural stone columns down the center line partially obscuring the far side. The Visible half bears a long, heavily battered table. There are several parchments and objects upon it, likely marking this as the ‘war room’ or site of planning. There are discarded nick-nacks and things lying about. In addition are several trophy-like items, probably displayed to assert Zag’Rek’s power. Among them are animal skulls, including one from a snake that must have been 30 feet long, strange looking bones and rocks, a broken Wild-Elf arrow, and a battered metal shield with the bordertown crest on it.
The goblin who recently fled is here, searching through a bunch of junk in the corner. His spear lies propped against the wall. He turns and sees the pair ready to fight. Frantically he throws his hands in the air in surrender.

"Drop stand still. Do not move. Tie him up!" Katten shouts switching from Goblin to elven as she gets close to the creature.

Noc will grab his 50ft rope. Instead of cutting a piece off, he will bind the goblins hands and leave the spare as a leash.
"Well look at all this." Once the goblin is bound he will take a look at the papers on the table.
