We faired better in NJ but my wife was admitted to the hospital on Friday night, I had to drive in that snow which wasn't bad for me but made getting to the hospital a royal pain. She had to have a transfusion as here blood levels dropped to a 6. Women are supposed to be between 12-16. her levels went back up but not enough so they are giving her more blood tonight. I am exhausted but she has it worse... She sent me home tonight to get some rest and here I am unable to sleep.... typing on the computer

You're really not favoured by the weather these past months.
We had only 6 inches of snow, so just the right amount to enjoy. Also, I didn't need to drive, and we don't have to shovel, the supermarket that's our "basement" has to get that done. (We live in the center of a small town, a supermarket has been built and its roof is a terrace, rather like the courtyard of a castle, with four town houses on it, one of which is ours.)

Give her my 'get well' wishes, Creed.

Angel would dislike any member of the party risking themselves in that way, not just Liri

What other way to gather the necessary information? Liri is the most skilled by raca and training.

Angel usually doesn't do risk... Last time she did she nearly got eaten by a fish!

Had to nudge you back in the boat and back home somehow, right?
Grumbles under his breath about players splitting the party....
That being said, this is a task for which Liri is well-suited.

It certainly is...
Grumbles about DMs moaning about players taking the initative.

I have no problem with players taking initiative. It's just that Angel's maritime expedition was doomed from the start. There literally was nothing at all of interest in that area of ocean, and I didn't want to bog things down for the other players by inventing something.

I was teasing, the point of the expedition was for Angel to spend more time with Bastian. And it was a success!
