Jerry looks in and smiles a greeting, "Hey Mira!" as she closes the door. "May I?" indicating sitting on the bed?
She shakes her head, "No, not so far as I'm aware. He does make me smile, but with a 'what's he done now' sort of thought never far behind. Just wanted to catch up really, you having been here longest and all. What do you make of our most recent acquaintance?"

[Jenara]

"Sure." Strumming a soft tune she nods and listens before replying. "Adrastia? She's a nice lady, a little serious but she's nice." Musing over that for a moment she shrugs. "Shes a hunter, and her prey is the Wolves. That's useful for us."

"How are you? Hows Merrick? He's a nice man, he's not come from our world.. things are different." She suggests.

"I'm ok, I guess. Well, not, really. But I'm sure you get that.." replies Jerry. "If you trust Adrastia, then that's good enough. I didn't get to spend much time with her. Just saw a bit of friction."

She listens to the tune for a a few bars and lets her shoulders slump a little,"I like Merrick. More than. You know."
Pulling at her ear, Jerry adds awkwardly, "Look, have I spoilt something for you there?.. were you?.. Merrick..?"

[Jenara]

"Friction isn't a bad thing, it helps to have someone to bounce ideas off." Mira suggests as she listens. "And yes I understand. This place is a little scary, the dreams and the wolves, only... is this mad, but I prefer this to home?" Mira admits and passes the Lute off with a simple motion, moving to sit alongside the Half Elven woman.

"Merrick and I.. There was nothing, well not from me. He's pretty much an innocent, I bet you were his first.. You.. umm yeah, anyway." Blushing she pats the womans leg, "He's too nice to for me, I don't think I deserve nice men.. Yasir was nice in his own way, but he had a dark past, a past I never knew." Folding her legs she pats the shirt down, adjusting it somewhat. "I think I know the looks and the closeness.. He's a sweet man, treat him well."

"You're right, I think. And I'd like to think I could bounce ideas off you. You can me, if you want, of course," answers the Mystran. "I'd like that. Don't say anything, but it's tiring presenting to all that everything's under control when really I make it up as I go along. You know?"

Listening to Mira, Jerry hears, or maybe imagines, a little more than is said and feels for the bard, "Look, I don't really know what it was like for you back in..your home; if ever you want to tell me, I'd love to hear. Actually you've got a voice that I could listen to forever, not in, you know, that way, but like a friendly brook bubbling away on a summer's day. What I mean to say is that however poorly you might have been though of, or treated, back home, we all think you're marvelous." She tries to give the bard a comforting, girlie hug, but doesn't want to break the lute nor to give the wrong idea, so maybe it comes off a bit half-arsed. She whispers, changing tact, "I think I was his first..but don't say anything, promise? Never thought I'd say it, but if I had to choose 'tween him and home it would be a tough call."

Sitting up again, some distance between the pair once more, "Look, I don't know Yasir. But you're a good woman and you deserve a good man. If you're not sure about one, you 'n' me can talk. Got your back." She smiles. It's nice not to feel alone.

[Jenara]

"Any time." Mira responds and actually laughs a little. "I wonder, do I look like I know what I'm doing? I'm just a Girl who sings, I play my songs and I hope to get through the day."

"Imagine everything you knew vanishing into war? A war led by Dragons..? I left to find my fame, and that was a mistake. My family were killed when my Home was invaded by the Dragonarmy, I have nothing where I come from, I have no one." She sighs and looks away for a moment. "Here I am actually someone, I'm respected, my music is appreciated, that matters so much." Accepting the hug warmly she pats her back gently. "I think you were too, he has lived a sheltered life. I have an assumption that you like me are no stranger to such things." She giggles quietly, "I've already decided, either I'm staying or I'm going with Elsa. She's sweet and I guess the Sister I never had."

"Yasir, he's like how I imagine riding a dragon would be, fun at the time but scary all the while, he is a drunk, a mess, obbessed with catching the Were things. I got very very drunk and he took me hard and fast.. It wasn't loving, it was well.." She blushes, "It was like Animals. And now I'm left wondering if he didnt leave me something behind." She admits before shrugging. "It will be what it will be."

"You're not 'just a girl' anything. You're strong and you're a good leader."
Jerry just shakes her head, "I don't know what to say. Home is home but it sounds awful. I didn't mean it like that."
Again she shakes her head but this time smiles grimly and swallows, letting the silence say the rest.

"No stranger, you're right. And you'd make the best of sisters."
She listens again, then responds, "You mean you might be expecting? I can check for certain."

[Jenara]

"Leader? Me." She coughs, "They all follow me because I talk, I know the language, I know a little of everything. Abyss be damned everything I've killed has been luck."

"Thank you Jerry, truly, and I believe we already do." Stopping her words she considers the request. "If I am, then I am, if I'm not well." She shrugs, "Hopefully we'll be safe and out of here before it happens."

"It works, you being leader, regardless of how qualified you feel. Use it," retorts the Jerry ending with a grimace. "Bossy me, sorry."

She leans back and fiddles with her hair while looking with professional interest at Mira's front. "Ok, how long since? You know, you and Yasir?" and then nods, respecting Mira's decision. "Errmm.. I'm not unskilled in that area should the need arise." She makes a mental not to keep an eye out for certain classes of herbs that she wasn't expecting to need. She is mildly amused at the unintended mental pun but says nothing.

[Jenara]

"I guess you are right, the Leader usually ends up being the loudest person." She chuckles. "The night before we met you, it was only once I think, it like my Mother used to say: "Once is enough." I had this old Lady who used to help with things like that, herbs and the like, I can tell you a story about quite a few, but where to find them.. yeah thats not me."

"Right, I need to practice, I have a song to finish and I have to decide what to wear. And then my hair, and well.. could you keep an eye on Pyros? I think he's bored." She moves to stand, opening her arms wide and beckoning the Half Elf towards her.

Jerry actually chuckles back, "You're right, once is enough. But more than once is better."
She twists to look at Mira as the bard stands up, "Yes, I want to hear those herby stories from you, please."

"I understand," she moves into the proffered hug. "Choose something that shows off your legs. And sure, I'll try to keep an eye on him." While hugging, Jerry whispers, "Want to chat sometime 'bout this world's magic. And crowns."

She breaks off and heads for the door, "Knock 'em out tonight!"

[Jenara]

"I think you mean more than once is better when its right." She suggests with a dark look, her mind elsewhere for a moment, "Another time perhaps." Holding her close for a moment, the thin shirt falling down over her body as she takes a long sigh. "Show off my legs huh? I think I can do that. I have just the thing. Its funny... most people don't mention my legs, their eyes go elsewhere." She giggles.

"Ok, Crowns.. Magic, that stuff. We'll discuss it later tonight with quite a few glasses of wine." She agrees, letting her go and resuming her playing.

Jerry rolls her eyes at the mention of 'elsewhere', then giggles too. It's infectious!
"Quite a few sounds perfect!" she agrees, then slips out, closing the door behind her.

[Jenara]

Shutting the door behind her Mira sits cross-legged on the bed and holds her lute for a moment. "This could be home.." she mutters to herself and carries on playing.
