Jack checks the floor towards the statue and finds no traps. Gur flies around the statue but doesn't see anything out of the ordinary for the statue itself. Nothing appears to be magical.

"Let's take it slow. I will check, but I should get some space." Jack will pick a patch of "tiles" or any division of floor that he can investigate as he makes his way to the statue.

"Make sure you follow this."
He will also then check, a full floor section around the statue, then move onto the statue, unless interrupted by a finding or the group.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jag will make his way back into room 2. He will casually look around, not looking for anything in particular.

After helping with his magical and danger sense inspection, Ke'Sha quickly climbs the rope back up and tells the dwarf, "I'll guard. You should go down there. You will better appreciate the stone work on the statue, and in any case if there is trouble there, well, I can revive you."

“I feel a sense of cold dread in your jests. By the way my trade is more along the lines of locksmithing not stonework. But I can still tell one type of stone from another. Maybe I can find a lock to pick down there or maybe in your head.”

"Will you two love birds keep down? I am trying not to die." Jack shakes his head, and continues inspecting.

Jack finishes checking the floor leading up to and around the base of the statue but finds no traps. He then inspects the statue itself for any traps or triggers by flying around it carefully without touching; but again comes up with nothing.

Neither Ke'Sha's Danger sense nor Gur's Detect Magic revealed anything either

"Seems to be clear to inspect this area for whoever wants to come down." He will now check for inscriptions or anything else that might hint of a future path.

"Unlock my brain? Huh. On this one, even *you* and I could agree this is something you DON'T want to do." Ke'Sha chuckles a bit, his face distorted between bad humor and condescension, then turns to speak with Allehain, assuming Axid already went down the rope and ignores him otherwise.
"Did you like our progress so far?"

=========================================
(OOC: I'm treading a thin line here tryin to play evil, presumptuous Ke'Sha on one hand and not hurt anyone feelings on the other. Please tell me all if you like these chit chats or if you want me to drop it off completely. Both works fine with me.)

(OOC: I think you’re doing a good job at making Ke’Sha a complete jerk. Axid finds him to be completely abhorrent and doesn’t trust Ke’Sha in the least amount. You should play your character as you see fit. That is role play after all. If you are asking it must have struck a cord somewhere. That being said, the others can jump in and chat it up too.)
Axid climbs down the rope to help with the investigation. Once on the bottom he pulls out a torch from his back pack and lights it to aid with the search. Once more light is available Axid will then look closely at the statue. He starts at the feet and working his way up and around examining the stonework.

You are doing great. Keep eviling it up. I am enjoying the chats. Maybe not Jack too much. I think it is just three of us left in the game.

[Allikhain doesn't seem to care about Ke'Sha's comments much, only commenting on them occasionally to be sure the party members remain cooperative as a team.]

Allikhain peers down into the pit as she ponders Ke'Sha's query. Progress? Hmm... some little bit. So far we have avoided outright catastrophe, though the presence of the trolls and their living weaponry could have gone much worse. Pity about your little playthings, but I'm sure you'll recover soon with the 'supplies' our attackers provided. We have yet to find even one of the Sigils, except upon the limbs of the deceased. Of course, we only just arrived so it is likely too early to say much.

Ke'Sha eyes lit as Allahain mentions the sigil, "Yeah, about that, I was planning to ask the deceased about the sigil." He grins. "I'm also considering exploring the dungeon a bit through the Ethereal plane. From my experience it would do us a lot of good to know where the traps and enemies are positioned before we walk in their path in our own flesh and blood."

====================================================================================
(OOC: So I'm glad some enjoy the evilness of Ke'Sha, but if it hit a cord it means I crossed a red border at some point. Please accept my apology. I'll keep it more civilized evil. :) )

Axid examines the statue carefully. It is adequately crafted, though not quite up to Dwarven standards, but impressive for size alone at the least. He does note some of the artistic lines in the shoulder and chest areas imply it might be designed for the arms themselves to move. Scanning the wall itself he becomes more certain, the palms seem designed to slide along the wall to reveal something behind them...

Allikhain nods, The border Ethereal might be useful for revealing beyond the physical if we come to a dead end... We still have the door across the pit here to contend with, and perhaps the dead-end hallway nearby. But let us exhaust more mundane or at least less extravagant means of progress first, shall we? she suggests.

"Hmm... living on the edge, aren't we? I meant using it as scouting means, before going on the mundane physical path and endangering ourselves." he looks at her expectantly for respond.
