Linar gently moves up behind Katten and whispers in her ear, "I've been in there before. Rocky underfoot. Want me to lead? Or can you still track?" He taps his nose.

Findalsip tries to keep up with the following distance between himself and the scouts so as not to lose them .

"Dran. Wait " she orders the wolf, rustling his fur. "I lead, you behind. Rocks no problem." She smiles a toothy grin.

"You're amazing!" whispers Linar with a nod. He eases weapons in their sheathes as he only just realises how keen Katten's tracking abilities are.

Jordek nods and says to Fin, I'll make sure we don't lose them in this dense underbrush. I'm pretty sneaky myself. The forest Gnome winks as he trots ahead, keeping a position between the two groups. [He will basically act as a relay between the two as much as able]
Cave Entrance: (Katten and Linar)
Dran hesitates but obeys as Katten kreeps forward.
The passage twists and turns in somewhat awkward and tunneling angles, and it doesn't take long for the light of day to be almoat fully shut out. A few scuff marks on the ground could be tracks, but with only the one initial path it seems obvious which way they must have gone.
After a few moments she comes to the first of many branches leading down into the darkness. Linar would recall the first as the way he initially used to surface from the underdark some weeks ago. The second is easily large enough for the party enter with only minor stooping (aside from Bull who would have to stoop more severely). The third branch would require more of a crawl than a walk, and Bull might not be able to make it through at all. The third Linar has never explored before.

Let's get a new tracking check. The modifiers all even out this time so just a straight roll

Katten notes the scrapes seem to follow the largest of the three paths [Linar's original passage from the underdark]. In addition to the tracks there is a tuft of coarse fur or hair near the ceiling of that passage. It is not immediately familiar to her... (not bear/ wolf, normal woodland creature).

Linar puts a hand gently on Katten's shoulder and taps her gently, then points at the hair deposits and mouths "Bugbears".

"Not good. They cause trouble. We kill." She gives a toothy smile.
