"What elves would they be?" asks GG. He adds hopefully, "Ones looking for trouble?"

Adrik wants to assess the situation. Insight check to determine the intension of the figures towards each other and potentially our group.

Tornak takes a couple seconds once GG engages conversation and causes his rat to appear hugging the wall of the building beside what I assume is the "puffy" pirate, south of the tiefling and mentally instructs Bernard to "follow the tiefling. Unseen if possible. Remember, you are a rat."

PuffyPirate:
"Oh, they wanted trouble alright. I was going to plunder their garden!" He snickers at his own innuendo. He then goes to backhand the HalfOrc. Obviously intoxicated he misses.
Adrik can tell they all know each other from the body language, and the laughing behind the threats.
HalfOrc:
"Watch it you parrot, or I might return the favour!" He swings his axes wide, on purpose.
Sailor:
"Cool it you fools. Looks like we have company!" The Sailor cracks his knuckles, and tosses his head side to side cracking his neck.
Tornak makes some subtle movements, the Arcane members of the group understand what he is doing, but to others it likely looks like a nervous twitch.
Anyone with passive perception above 16 notices a rat appear just East of the Pirate, 10' South of the Tiefling.
Anyone that spotted the Tiefling notices him jump a bit, but just looks at the rat, then continues to watch his likely companions.
Uneasy with the situation Renwick unlimbers his Axe.

Rayman can add an action in if you like.

[Is there aindications or inferences as to whether the "elves" referred to are probably drow? Or the opposite, that they're probably not drow? There might be cultural reasons that the PCs know as to whether it's possible (or impossible)..]

You would assume it is not Drow, as they are typically not welcome in the city. And he is thinly veiling, talking about getting intimate with them.

GG halves the distance between him and the group of drunks. "Lookin' for an elf myself," offers GG, deadpan. "A particular one.. snow white hair. Seen anything like that?"

Flatbelly notices the Tiefling and then GGs reaction and waits to see how it would develop but uses 'Guidance' cantrip seeking knowledge with his goddess Auril about the situation.

(OOC: Is the pub near our goal at all? Even that we don't like rude people trying to force themselves on pretty elves, it seems they were dealt with. If we can avoid getting into fight it would be better since we are in a hurry to deal with worse stuff. Unless we can detect any marks of the drow guild on these fellow.
I don't remember exactly how guidance work... Can it help decide whether these fellows are intend to fight in all costs, we can get clues from them or we should just avoid them?)

Rayman can tell they all know each other, and their posture has changed since the sailor reacted to your groups chatting.
They are not aggressive yet, but they seem to be growing more aggressive.
You can see that they are not on the edge to attack yet, yet.

Keeping his hands at the ready, Tornak waits, somewhat impatiently, to see how the situation develops.

Anyone who speaks after this point roll a persuasion roll, along with your speaking.
PuffyPirate:
"What would you want with a Drow?" He spits.
HalfOrc:
"Drow... at least I know what to do with them. Slash slash. Amber and Agnes get a drink whenever I see a Dark Elf."
The Sailor looking fellow just Grunts.
Adrik shakes his head and starts to walk around the group moving close to the building and towards the end goal. He jumps slightly once he notices the Tiefling in front of him.

"Thanks for your help then," finishes GG with a grim smile. "Have a nice evening."
He moves up to Adrick.
If the drunks don't start anything then no need to and he keeps going.
