Nocturno chants intently, his adrenaline building as he ascends the stony slope; eager hands itching to wrap themselves around goblin throats... Rapidly the elf climbs to the peak, only to encounter a goblin rising to the ledge from the other side and preventing his progress! The small green creature stabs down at him with a poorly made spear, but the heavily armored elf quickly ducks the blow.

Jordek hears the sound of combat and follows the wall in the darkness. Climbing blindly up the slope near the wall, he emerges next to Nocturno. At the peak, he stabs at the goblin attacking the elf but catches nothing. Nocturno gets a glimpse at the corridor above, seeing several more goblins and the leader Krok! A few of the wetrock tribes-goblins look a little worse for wear, bearing bruises and cuts. Krok himself sports two black eyes and a crooked nose, as well as a large welt on the side of his head; all courtesy of his previous encounter with the party. With rage in his beady red eyes he screams at the others to attack!

A goblin guardsman, bearing rusty chainmail and an axe, hustles up to hack at the now-berserk warrior-priest. The weapon glances across the ledge face, sending sparks flying and narrowly missing the elf.

Katten finishes her ascent, but finds she too is blocked from cresting the ledge by another spear wielding goblin! This time the weapon finds the mark as the rusty spearhead sinks into her furred shoulder! Another moves beside it to strike at the ranger, but the stab goes wide instead.

Elden, unable to see, continues to climb behind Nocturno but is forced to halt as the other members of the group hang just below the peak. Down below Linar Indendien and Dellinanth open fire on the goblins at the top of the ridge, taking down the creature that injured Katten.

[Chris, climbing is movement. It's much slower than normal, but still movement. Since the group is kind of blocked at the top, did Linar still want to climb? If not he can take a second shot for the end of round 1]

If Nocturno can move because of the one dead one he will but I bet that is unlikely.

IF he can get up, he will get up to let Elden to the edge.

Quite visibly upset, both with the stupid trap and being injured Katten draws her blade and slices wildly at the closest creature.

Finding himself stabbing blindly in the darkness guided only by the sounds of battle, Jordek swiftly realizes this was one of the stupider impulses he has followed in his life. He will try to make himself as small of a target as possible and attempt to back down the slope keeping tight to the wall in the hopes of creating space at the front line for one of his companions who can see what they are doing.

In a blind rage Nocturno slashes furiously upslope, the sword crashing against the stone wall of the cave without meeting flesh. The smaller goblin stabs fearfully at the ferocious warrior without making contact. The more heavily armored guard savagely hacks down on the elf, his axe luckily turned by the splint-mail. Finding himself blind amid a cacophony of sound and violence, Jordek thinks better of his circumstance and withdraws back down the side of the ramp and out of immediate reach.

Likewise Katten turns her blade against the hated Nisser, slashing angrily up at her attackers. The pair of goblins above thrust their spears at the ranger; one punching through her leathery armor and drawing blood. Arrows fly from below again, Dellinanth striking down the foe that wounded his friend. One of the goblins in the back takes up a fist-sized stone and hurls it at Nocturno, missing badly and sending the rock tumbling down.

"Jordek, you got one of them torches?" If this iron encased elf ever gets out of the way, we can get some punches in!" If Nocturno moves Elden will scoot up the slope.

The elf says nothing and just sets about replacing his bow string.

Attempting to score a hit on the closest Nesser Katten howls in rage as she swings wildly once more.

Nocturno slashes mercilessly at the goblin above him, hacking halfway through the creature. The goblin guardsman beside it strikes down, glancing the steel blade off the warrior-priest's armor. Clambering back down the slope, Jordek takes out a torch and ignites it, illuminating the slope for himself and his human counterpart. Katten's longsword scrapes the stones above, far from meeting goblin flesh.

High above, the second axe weilding guard steps callously over his dead tribesman and brings his weapon to bear against Nocturno; but to no avail. Linar fishes out a spare bowstring and repairs his weapon while the female elf beside him tags the goblin blocking Nesserr square in the chest. The Feliz ranger scrambles up the slope; finally cresting the hill and moving to engage the others! Seeing the opening, Elden too climbs higher and strikes out at one of the guardsmen, injuring it badly! More elven arrows sail up the slope, but the shafts strike naught but stone.
