I just had this vision of Boyd standing on Garroth's shoulder, like Rocket and Groot.

Sol Mazer wrote:OOC: Time of day? Is there cover?
Around 3pm. No cover on the ledge from the opposite side of the canyon, but the ledge is completely concealed from this side except for someone standing right at the edge of the chasm.
Around the edge of the canyon there are some trees, shrubs and rocky ridges to use for cover.

It's a good thing you specified the brown path... lol I was thinking the Minotaur looked over the edge and left that brown path...... lol

Wow.
Announcement:
Excessive punny jokes will be punished in-game by bizarre and equally punny misfortunes.

I.e. It will
literally rain felines and canines. (But not Kattens and Drans, so don't go there, Nocturno :p )
[For those of you who don't know me well yet, this is a joke. I'm not really doing that. However, if you find a duck in a dungeon I would caution you not to pick it up.]

And beware if you come across a Kender who is sitting on a roof!

'Changing' from infravision to normal (or vise versa) isn't a voluntary process. It's not like switching a car from high-beams to low beams. The party can physically shield their eyes so the light is less intense and the change less abrupt at first, though.

That's what she meant, i figure for Katten her eyes are just used to changing, yes she would have to shield them but she would do that as a matter of course.

Closing ones eyes when you know normal light is about to take place and then opening them once it has should help.. at least we won't be surprised by it

Does the drow think that if he goes in now, he'd possibly gain elven surprise?

"Linar and Katten seem to have approached unnoticed."
These two have surprise for now. If others want to move up before these two strike, a new roll may be necessary (especially if someone in armor or someone imposing less than the normal elven surprise penalty approaches).
"...With the noisier members of the group behind and around a couple of corners..."
Charging as a tactic cannot be performed around corners. Also the Minotaur can barely squeeze through the passage, so those behind must wait until he reaches the open chamber to pass him
