Seeing that the minotaur and half-elf are busy at the moment, Arulia stands by the counter and orders a mug of hot mulled wine hot with her few remaining coins. With mug in hand, she sits down at an empty table to wait for her erstwhile companions to finish their business with the shady-looking dwarf.
(OOC: Arulia won't risk haggling, as she doesn't have any extra money to spend should the bargaining go poorly. She'll settle for just the cloak, then purchase ten bandages, which should leave her with 4 silver pieces. Hopefully, a mug of mulled wine won't cost more than that...)

Shima stifles a sigh, adding "While you finish that mouthful, I'll get you some tea, same as the remnants in that cup." She stand up and goes to the bar. "Barman, 1 tea please. For the large one over there."
He looks at the woman {OOC: Arulia} and winks.

"Haahque." Ne-Chanz replies. He drinks the tea.

“Pretty? I guess they were passable if you happen to be a tall folk, but real ugly inside. The both of them greedy and unhelpful and also thieves. Did’ja just say they were here last night? Like after I left? They weren’t into me, really I prefer a girl I can see eye to eye, if you know what I’m saying. I think I need a drink.” Haahqae slides the silver back across the counter “Whatever’s on tap.”
“They didn’t happen to drop any hints of where they were going did they?”

Arulia catches the dwarf's notice of her and nods slightly in return. "Have I been that obvious? I didn't mean to stare..." she thinks. To ensure that she doesn't seem too interested in the stranger's business, she looks about the room. She hadn't seen Pen when she came in, but she supposes that she could have missed him: he's small, and as a kender, she supposes that if he's good at avoiding notice when necessary.

Felran gets up after eating his breakfast, moving past the Dwarf. When he gets near Ne-Chanz, he whispers, "Best leave my name out of this for now," before he walks back up towards his room. Thinking to himself, he wonders why all these people seem to crash in at the same time.

Seeing Haaque at the bar Tulbas quickly goes to him. "Good morning" he says and rubs his hands. "Freezing cold outside." He then wave to the bartender, "Give me hot cider please." When the bartender steps away he turns back to Haaque, "So... are we continue the search we started yesterday or return to the... hmm... brothel?" he whispers the last word so only Haaque will hear him.

"'Morning Tulbas" Haahqae replies glumly. "I hope I didn't let our hirelings down, we had their pay right there... and then it was stolen."

"We still might find it." Tulbas encourages the gnome as he sips from the cider. "I really appreciate you risked yourself to save me." He says seriously, then smiles and suggests, "Your next round is on me."

Haahqae, Tulbas and Gobax (Steel Tankard, common room)
"Nah, not after you left. They left with you and a bunch of other folks. I haven't seen them since then," the barkeep responds. He gives Haahqae a mug of watered down ale for 2 silver coins. "I can keep an eye out for them, but have you reported them to the army? They are the closest thing to law we got here now."
============
Haahqae spends 2 SP on watered down ale.
Kendra Greylock (Old Fort)
"Not so fast, Greylock," says a woman's voice behind Kendra. It is the cleric of Takhisis from the day before, her sly smile plainly visible under her black cowl. "I have an assignment for you. How's your dancing?"
Arulia Seroth (High Hand Inn, common room)
The innkeeper brings Arulia a glass of watered down wine for a silver while the shady looking dwarf leers at her. Trying to avoid his gaze, she scans the room more carefully. There is no sign of Pen or any other kender. He had been quite wounded yesterday, so it's possible he's somewhere safe, resting and healing.
=============
Arulia spends 16 SP on a new cloak and 2 SP for a 10 bandages and 1 SP for a watered down glass of wine.
Felran, Ne-Chanz and Shima (High Hand Inn, Common room)
The innkeeper brings out a cup of tea for Ne-Chanz and charges Shima 5 copper for it. Felran heads back up to their room to be alone.
=============
Shima buys a cup of tea for 5 CP.

Kendra pauses in her steps, and glances over her shoulder to the priest that she had a run in with yesterday. Part of her was kind of hoping that was a dream, but apparently it wasn't. "My dancing?" she asked. "Uh, okay I guess?" she asks. "Why? What are you going to have me do that requires dancing?"

Shima says quietly, "That's the one. Was told to look for him in the grotty inn. Off there in a short while. You can warn him to just play along. Will explain in private," adding in a louder voice, "Enjoy the tea!"
The dwarf made a show of rubbing his hands together as he made a beeline for the half-elf (Arulia), "Hello there! I'm Shima. What's your name?"

Grubnick walks behind the Gnome and speaks quietly so Haahque and Tulbas can hear. Some dwarf in black leather was asking around about you at the High Hand this morning. Not sure what he wants, but I thought you should know. Tulbas, did anyone ever report the location of the Belzorites to the church? I'd hate for him to get away with everything he's done... I'd make the report myself, but I think it'd be better coming from one of the three they hired for it. They might get suspicious if an unknown goblin walked up to them and made such a claim.
Grubnick then moves on and moves to the bar at least one seat away from the girls. He takes a short, less conspicuous look at them to see if they're familiar to him in any way, and if anything can be seen of the one with the hood up without being obvious.

Upon hearing Grubnick's words, Haahqae's sullen demeanor slides off him like a cloak. "Someone was asking for me? Yes! I got a fan. Really it's quite surprising how few fans I get given how much work I put into joggling and hero-ing, it's a real treat whenever I'm able to talk to one." But a glace from Tulbas is all it takes for him to calm down again. "But I guess that's not top priority right now. We've got to find those girls and get our money back first. They didn't come back here last night. Still though, if you happen to see this black leather dwarf, make sure to point him out to me so that I can greet him properly."

Ne-Chanz rolls his eyes and sip his tea.
