"The bird men have their own language, don't they?"

OOC: Going to do this a little bit in the past tense due to the fact I've been gone a couple of days.

IC: Jocelyn waited until after Brock was gone before she addressed Baeros. She went into details about how the island that they were exploring was full of very violent tribal members. The Kohen had managed to explore a little bit of the island for educational purposes, but Ourgana and Aerlion both put up protests about killing the violent tribal members, despite the fact that the tribal people had tried to kill them multiple times up to that point. After saving Andar, they rushed back to the ship, with the Kohen to return to Narin. What the Kohen did after that was up to him.

Though, Jocelyn tried to protest a little about talking to Leanna about getting Gonto involved with the league. It wasn't as if Leanna could do anything about getting the church involved. "We, of course, realize that you might be the wrong person to speak to about such matters," she says finally. "But you could direct us to the people that could help with the situation on Mond. When I get the chance, I plan on speaking to my own superiors about trying to aid those within Mond."

"Yes, they do" Ouragana answers, looking at Koh'kra affectionately. "They have an interesting culture, up in their mountains."

"Do you know this one in particular?" Gallath slices off and takes a bite of his venison, while watching the bird man curiously.

Jocelyn, Brock and Baeros (Narin Temple of Gonto)
Leena seems surprised by Baeros' abrupt change of heart and demeanor. But Jocelyn's backup seems to help. "Well, it's true the League is awful. And we have been trying for years to get a temple set up on Mond. But the League always blows it up or assassinates any priests we send. If we could only organize a defense against them. But they have no base of operations or central authority we can assault. It's really frustrating, actually."

Gallath and Ouragana (Paragon Inn)
Koh'kra mimics Ouragana's gestures, but as he has no lips, he cannot smack them. Instead, he whistles.

Ouragana laughs. "You're clever, Koh'kra" she tells the birdman. She continues to eat, then nods to Gallath. "Yes, I know him. As I said, he is the chieftain's son. He was our guide to their nest and back."

"Hmm... interesting" Gallath says.

"Gonto and Octhanus would probably work well together in this situation," Jocelyn points out. "The higher ups would need to contact one another to come up with a plan of..attack so to say on how to help Mond."

Jocelyn, Brock and Baeros (Narin Temple of Gonto)
Leena appears intrigued. "You're suggesting some kind of alliance between the churches of Gonto and Octhanus? That...might work. Combining our resources, we could start a holy crusade against the chaotic forces of Crizza and the League, bringing peace and stability to the entire island of Mond." She suddenly frowns, though. "Would the church of Octhanus actually do that? They're pacifists. They would probably just want to give the League hugs or something."

Gallath and Ouragana (Paragon Inn)
As Gallath and Ouragana talk about the Aarakocra, a gnome steps into the tavern. He has stone gray skin and white hair, smooth and cut to his jaw line. His eyes are silver and his nose is rather small--for a gnome, that is. He is wearing a grey duster and a wide-brimmed, grey hat.

There is something familiar about him to Ouragana.

"They are. They are also some of the most compassionate people I have ever met. The situation in Mond is a desperate one, and the chaos could one day threaten the rest of the islands if they sit back and do nothing."

Ouragana's eyes narrow for a moment as she combs her memory to know who the grnome is. Then she quickly gets up and steps in his way. "Is that you, Grey?" she asks him

Baeros seems happy as the conversation rolls in the way he intended. "Yeah, well, the League are not representing CRIZZA. They are just Crazy!" He enjoys playing with words. "So, now that it is settled, and we obviously will offer our help with helping the situation in Mond, want to show me around the city? I can tell you more about what we have seen on our way." he looks at her eagerly.

Gallath stands up behind Ouragana. "Is he trouble?" he mutters to Ouragana, putting his hand on his sword.

Dahn tips his hat 'At your service. Who's the paranoid fellow with ya?'

Ouragana laughs out loud. "No, no, I think I just scared everyone by jumping up like that.
You remember Koh'kra, don't you, Grey?" she asks Dahn, pointing at the birdman.
