Imani raises an eyebrow when Ulster asks to switch places with Thuskar, but otherwise she doesn't say anything. She goes about her business of keeping near the fire, resting, and getting ready for her own watch when the time comes.

OOC: Nope, no scenes for me.

(I'm happy to move on.)

OCC (all I would do is keep watch, so unless something happens, I'm just watching.)

Babushka and Aleaha take the first watch, speaking some of Habbakuk, the forest, animals and their experiences as rangers.

Jerrard and Ulster take the second watch, which is largely uneventful. Same goes for the third watch with Imani and Thuskar.

The final watch, from 4 to 6 AM, goes to Locky and Jeremy. It seems, at first, to be no more eventful than the others. But about an hour into the watch, they both notice a fairly pleasant, almost perfume like odor wafting into the camp.

It's then that Locky notices that one of the trees is a bit closer than it was before to the camp (although not actually in the camp). A friendly face forms on its trunk, revealing that it is more than what it appears.

It is currently Waking Hour (5 AM).

"Hello." Locky says with a smile, "You look like a friend of mine, Leafloam, he is a Treant, a nice one." Raising her hand from the postion she is standing in she gives the tree a wave.

"Have you met any Treants?" She asks Jeremy.

"Can't say as I have, perhaps I should wake Aleaha." Jeremy then proceeds to try and arouse Aleaha from her slumber to tell her of the treant.

"Come here," the tree says. "Have present. Be friends?" it asks, its Common somewhat broken. It shakes its boughs a bit, as if beckoning the two forward.

When Jeremy touches Aleaha, she starts and pulls out a knife that flashes in the light of the fireplace and the glowing coin. She relaxes suddenly and sheathes the blade. "What is it?" she asks, rubbing at her eyes.

"A Treant, I met one before, this one looks interesting." She says, part of her wanting to move forwards.

Aleaha sits up and looks over at the tree. "Leave it be. Do not speak to it or go near it," she says, then lies back down to return to sleep.

"Nice friend?" the tree persists, calling out to Locky.

"Well it seems we have to leave you alone, go back to where you came, it was nice to meet you though." She says and slumps back down, the forest was so boring! But she had asked the Elf along...

The tree does not go anywhere, though, but remains exactly where it is. "Friend come?" it asks again. "Have gift. Give to friend."

"Sorry I can't take it." Locky says quietly, "Go away, please." Part of her really wanted to see what would happen, after all it was only a tree.

"Thanks for the warning", Jeremy says. To Locky He says," Come on away from the tree, lets not disturb it." He then moves to an area of the camp that is a good distance from the tree, making it a point to ignore the tree, yet keep an eye on it as he maintains his watch.
