Yes.. I agree, but....
Simple answer = She's a Kender.
I'm goning to have to reel back her "Kenderness"... Hence the reason Jerrard is coming in to keep me under control.. I get carried away!

The last group I ran this with, one of the players mapped the dungeon out as we played. He was pretty accurate, too.

Ah, I see.
But seriously, though...there's this running gag in my other game that every time I control an archer, dagger tosser, dart thrower, etc., that my rolls always suck. I don't know why. -_-()

So there seems to be some confusion on what can and cannot be done in a single round of combat. I've decided to list some examples here from the PHB to help shed some light on this problem.
Things that can be done within one round:
[*]Make an attack (make attack rolls up to the maximum number allowed the character at a given level)
[*]Cast one spell (if the casting time is one round or less)
[*]Drink a potion
[*]Light a torch
[*]Use a magical item
[*]Move to the limit of his or her movement rate
[*]Attempt to open a stuck or secret door
[*]Bind a character's wounds
[*]Search a body
[*]Hammer in a spike
[*]Recover a dropped weapon
The following are 'free actions' and can be done in addition to anything listed above:
[*]Shout warnings, brief instructions, or demands for surrender, but not conversations where a reply is expected.
[*]Change weapons by dropping one and drawing another.
[*]Drop excess equipment, such as backpacks, lanterns, or torches.
Hopefully that clears things up a bit. If a player lists more than one action in a single round (i.e., recover a dropped weapon and then attack with it), I will only count the first action listed.

Cool thanks, I'm rather rusty on the combat kind of thing!
Locky is more "entertainment value" than actual combat worthy anyway.

I was aware of that, but since I post at a different time from the rest of you, I wanted to have a "spare action" in case the rest could play two rounds while I was offline.

That's fine. I work all weekend anyway, so my own posts will be reduced, as well.

Right quick heads up:
I am at my Parents from the 22nd Dec Till the New Year, during that time I'll have net access (via my mobile) but my posts are going to be limited.
If I don't speak to you before that, happy xmas and hope you all have a great new year!
(Oh, I'm trying to reel in the Kenderness, but its tough!!)

I don't have a mobile with net access, and my father has such a precarious homebrew net access that I don't dare upsetting it, so I probably won't be able to post from 25th Dec to 2nd Jan.
Merry Christmas to all - and I know at least one thing I'm looking forward to in the new year!

Ah, we finally get to the good stuff in this module. I've been awaiting this!
So how was everyone's holidays? You all have a good time?

We've spent the days with family and old friends, talking, watching DVDs, making music. It was wonderfully relaxing. Only the guest beds were a bit hard. We had luck with the weather on our driving days: no significant delays.
Oh, and I got the phone number of my very first DM (haven't seen him for 25 years), with the reassurance that he'll help me out with modules for the campaign I'm DMing for my daughter.
So, it was a VERY good Christmas.
