"Light up.. light up.. as if you have a choice.." Mira sings softly, a small flame appearing in her palm... "My spells are all music from magic!" Mira giggles.

"My head is swimming, which sets my stomach a growling. Before I forget; Does anyone have any idea where I can be fitted for some leather armour?"

That was kind of creepy... Elsa says, after having remained silent for a while. The "Swords of Shining Silver Light" seems pretty clear, but what do you think it meant about "Weapons Forged of Darkest Night"?

"There is a leatherworker, and they probably won't have anything your size.. We could get you measured but these things take time, and besides you'd probably need to pretend to be a child.." Mira muses looking away from the book.

"Shining Silver light. Could it be that simple?" Reaching into her bodice she removes the silver dagger, Winking as she does so. "Perhaps the clue is in the name?" She enquires as she scans the book looking for hints.

"Humpf, pretend to be a child, I guess I will have to get used to that while we are here." Pyros will cross his arms.

"My knowledge is limited in weapons outside of my Hoopak." Pyros will start to one hand juggle a silver sling stone and the rock he purchased from Rautaunt earlier.

After a bout a minute, unless someone talks to him Pyros will head outside, and ask the warriors if they would escort him to see if he can purchase some leather armour.

Frankly I hate it as much as you Pyros. After Cross"s little display I wouldnt be surprised if they were ready to string us all up. Why dont you ask the boys to help? But the language.." lifting her head from the book she gives Pyros a look.

"You want armor, so ask: Je voudrais une armure de cuir." She repeats the phrase five times listening to his accent and words each time. "And thank you is: Merci." Giggling she smiles. "Do you have any other words you want to know?"

Mira begins looking through the book, but can tell that Pyros is getting antsy so she tries to teach him a few phrases in Harmonian. Scanning lines from other stanzas she recalls that it has a very similar feel to the stories she found at the Hall from her time before the others had arrived...
She continued her research for any mention of 'savage beasts', and found a few; some of which included imagery of the moon. All manner of beasts came up, massive bears, boars, even rat-men... the only exception seemed to be wolves, which were often depicted with stoic nobility. Often the tales and songs included speak of 'shining blades' and 'noble metals, and even 'metal black and cold.'
Unfortunately there was nothing more specific about the metals... but something itched at the back of her mind...

"I shouldn't tell you. Yasir will be so mad at me!" Mira giggles and with a smirk she repeats: Excusez mon muscle liƩ ami. Ses muscles utilisent tout son sang au moment" She repeats the phrase until she is sure he gets it.

"I remember reading about the Savage Beasts. All sorts that were affected by the moon. They were all Savage, yet the wolves... They were noble. They were all beaten with 'noble metals, black and cold, or shining blades..." Musing a moment she flips the dagger keeping an eye on Pyros. "These metals can hurt those creatures... Yasir fought Rat men.. Perhaps."

Her brain started to string the ideas together like a familiar song, one that required practice..

(Tristen to my knowledge there are no mentions of Weres or the like on Krynn, the idea would be quite Alien to her.. Not even sure if Weis/Hickman included Vampires.. Just scary Death Knights and the walking Dead)

[Ooc: no problem. I'm not terribly familiar with krynn, so use your own judgement there. She might not even believe in the existance of were-creatures, but at least half the party are from planes that have them so she might take it under advisement. The idea of silver to injure a creature isn't totally alien, I wouldn't think (certain undead at least?)]

Rautant has been listening to the speculation silently to this point, but when the bard mentions 'noble wolves' he breaks into a fit of laughter. The wolves?!? Hah! They're no less cruel than any other... probably moreso! And more cunning by half, I'll wager. Why, your Ranger friend outside has taken it upon himself to hunt the things. He's already killed one hardly a day past! He shakes his head, all mirth evaporated from his tone like mist in the noonday sun. Make no mistake, my dear; the tale you read portrayed their evil accurately. Nodding to the Kender, Gnome and Elf. They were all here when I tested the blood on his sword myself.

[OoC: They never did much undead they were a tad too busy with DRAGONS, DRAGONS EVERYWHERE lol.]

"Yeah with that purple flower I picked for Els... aahhh by the tower where I met Elsa. What did you call it Wolfs Trouble?"

He will say that as he has a foot out the door.

After he leaves:
"My muscle bound hero! Or my woodsman. Would either of you escort me to the leatherworker shop? The talk of savage beasts and different metals in there is starting to depress me!"

"Wolves Bane?" Mira asks as the Kender leaves, "The idea of such things are.. Alien to me, I've never heard a story of one." She comments as she casts her mind to the research she had managed. "All these stories, these tales, they are told by those that survive. Why not the Wolves? Why couldn't they cast themselves in a noble light? She asks, the comment about the blood being accepted with a nod.

"So these things exist, they are here.. Out there.. The creatures that attacked Pyros and Elsa.. Could they be 'here'? The story says they used the people as cattle?"

(It would be reaching to wonder if someone was missing, and Weres do not exist on Krynn. I checked)

Artanis, finished with his practice foolishly agrees to help Pyros by "escorting" him to the leather worker shop. "Is this something practical you are up to, or another grand adventure? I'm fond of the grand adventures, myself. Savage beasts? Why just say the word and Yasir will raise his weapon and with a mighty war cry, he will single handedly slay them by the hundreds. The ground shall be so littered by the corpses of the beasts that you could walk on top of the bodies for a mile, and never touch the ground. The bards, and not just the red headed one, shall sing of his deeds, causing fair maidens to swoon and young men to wish they were as half as valiant as he!"
