I don't know what else we can do... us getting lost as well isn't going to help any. I don't even know if that Adran guy can track. Maybe he can and they'll find their way back, but our best chance to find them would be Artanis. The pair return to the farmhouse

[Jenara]

"You're right, I dont want to get lost! So, we could get back to the House before nightfall, or wait till tomorrow? Either way is fine with me." She comments as they enter Ontash's House once more.

"Personally I'd rather stay here if Ontash lets us, than well, the same house as Jerry and Merrick." She giggles.

Well, we have to wait to see if Adran and Cal come back here too anyway, right?

[Jenara]

"Of course!" Nudging Elsa she smiles at Ontash. "Well, I'm no tracker, and I'd rather not get lost in those woods, so could we stay here and see if they return in the morning? We can share the couch."

Ontash assures them they can stay as long as they want. I'm sure they'll be back. They didn't seem overly concerned, more like they were just investigating something they saw...

[Jenara]

"Investigating in this place is dangerous." Mira asserts removing her weapons and finding a seat. "Thank you, and I know you are going to say you owe us, but really, you have already been too kind." With that she goes to see if she can help Maria with anything, taking the chance to feel.. normal for a moment.

Mira and Elsa help around the house a little, making short work of the light chores remaining. Elsa plays with the children as well, and the family seems to be far more relaxed than yesterday.

Happy to move this to the next day.

When she wakes, spells: Comp Langs, magic missile x2, Invis

[Ok. I'll see if the other PCs are game for that. Anything else she wanted to accomplish today?]

Ooc: Enjoy a nice evening with some nice people. And relax.

The evening passes pleasantly, the children calling for music and Ontash telling a funny story of a rabbit who continually outsmarted a bear and a fox. Elsa remembered to sing before the evening meal and after; much to Maria and Ontash's delight.

The night came cold and sinister as always... but this time, no howls interrupted their slumber.

[I'll hold xp for this game day over until the next since it was short.]

Sitting quietly Mira enjoys Elsa's song grinning as she sings, when she is done she lifts her lute and begins to play an upbeat tune.

Everyone makes it to bed at a reasonable hour and thus rises early near the dawn. It is already warmer than yesterday, even in the early hours, and the wind is a little lighter. The sky overhead seems clear and unforboding for once.

[Time is 7:15 am] just before sunrise.

It is now Thursday, February 29th, 736 BC (Barovian Calendar)

-The party has agreed to meet Akriel at the Old Kartakan Inn in Skald in 4 days (on Sunday March 2nd).

Mira gains +2% to her Harmonian lang check

Rising early Mira washes (with real water) changes into her 'Gypsy' garb (white blouse, black bodice, red skirt) and throws the red shawl over her shoulders. "Morning." She says quietly rousing Elsa (if she isnt already awake).

(She'll get some breakfast, prep her gear and get them moving back to the House)

Elsa rises bright early with the bard, and before long Maria is making breakfast again; anticipating their nees to be away. I truly cannot thank you enough for your help. Any time you and your friends come back this way, you are welcome here. She gives the bard a tight hug, moisture coming to her eyes. Ontash wakes to the smells of breakfast and thanks them both profusely as well. Not only did you save us from the creature, he says in elven, But you have restored my leg so i can protect and provide for my family again.

Elsa watches the sunrise just before her morning prayers, the golden light playing about her short, blonde hair like the glitter of heaven. Taking s deep, slow, breath she finishes with a broad grin. It's going to be a good day. I can feel it.

Before long, the pair are on the road.
