After lingering in the corner, pondering Arie's words: ("We need to play him a little, to drive the price up."), a light sparks up in his mind.
He approaches the bartender to buy 1 more drink and asks if he knows where the jeweler lives.

After paying another silver for a new drink, the bartender tells him where the jeweler lives. It's a two-story building just outside the main gate of the Warden's Keep. Look for a sign with a big green diamond on it.

"I believe you may have me confused with someone else." Arei says flatly, crossing her arms over her stomach, which only serves to elevate her bust. "I am sorry if you have the wrong idea." Standing she gives him a bow. "I will find somewhere else to sleep, if need be."

The gnome frowns, it finally sinking in. "I'll show you out then," he says. "Oh, and you can forget our deal. I'll pay 1,200 gold pieces for the carving, and not a copper more."

As soon as Areilon is ready, he ushers her back downstairs and out the front door in a very grumpy manner.

Dahn slams the drink down his throat and heads to the jewelery store.

Collecting her gear, Arei remains in the dress, the sword grasped in her left hand she gives him a forlorn glance, "You have mis-understood me, I was trying to get to know you, I did not intend to lead you on..." She lowers her head, "It is a shame.."

"Hmph!" the gnome says. "Well, come back in the morning, if you're still interested in doing business." He ushers her out the front door just as Dahn is arriving. Spotting him, Hubert warns, "Watch out for this one, brother gnome. She's a big tease." He then shuts the door, leaving the two of them outside.

Arei stands before Grey, clutching her arms around her chest, sword unbuckled.. "There appeared to be a mis-understanding." Throwing her arms in the air she shrugs.

"Oh," Jocelyn said. Quickly, she erased the idea that Noah actually gave a crap about her other than thinking of her as his responsibility. Focusing on her instruction, Jocelyn placed her hand over her small wound and channeled the healing energy into her would.

The wound heals up instantly, leaving no scarring behind.

"Very good," Noah says. "Although I suppose you were always a natural at magical healing. Well, why don't you tell me about your little adventure, and then we'll get some rest."

Jocelyn casts Cure Light Wounds on herself, restoring 1 HP.

Jocelyn leans back on her elbows on her bed now that her wound is healed. "I'm not too bright," Jocelyn admits. "But the other group of people sometimes make me look like a genius," she says. She then jumps into the story of what happened on their quest.

Dahn gives Arei a confused look but quickly remembers why he came.
*Hopefuly he can still hear me* Dahn thinks to himself.
After a quick wink to Arei, Dahn announces loudly"You're not gonna believe this, a traveling merchant, goes by the name Toggle, offered to buy it for twicie what you estimated it's value would be. Says its the main price in some rare religious collection. Don't remember the details,but with a price like that, details aren't important . He's leaving soon after mid day tomorrow,which gives us just enough time to finish our business with the dwarves. So what did your prospecter offer for it?"

"Really?" Arei asks just about getting the jist, she turns back to him. "He offered us 1,200. Which is less than it is worth." Pulling her sword on her waist she tries to hide her lack of dress.

If Hubert hears their loud conversation, he doesn't make a move to act upon it. His door remains closed and no sound emits from within that either of them can hear.

"Come I need to find a floor to rest on." Arei says with a shrug, "Unless you possess 3 gold?" She asks with little hope.
