Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh (This is the Game Thread)

"I Mean what are ye names? Some would think you have the upper hand, knowing my name and all." He grabs the bars, shaking them slightly. "Now, I'll say this one last time, I heard Stories, I came here, I found the trap door, I ran and you good folks just woke me up." He frowns, glancing at his gear. "So you folks can ask me questions all you like, it ain't gonna help.."

Searos finds the walls are quite rough, many of the stones are loose, apparently the walls are just dry stone, especially the wall to the east (back towards the Cellar).. The only other thing of note in the room is the pile of gear, being stared at expectantly by the Halfling.

In the 'Living Room' Brax moves closer to the door, regarding Kim with curiosity. "This house is most strange, I can definitely sense a lost Spirit, one who has lost their way.." Giving Kim a grin she adds. "With everything that happened in Greyhawk City, I did not get a chance to thank you..."

"Yes, because I'm known for unleashing ice monsters on innocent people," Echo mutters to Searos. She turns back to the halfling, and simply shrugs at him. "I'm Echo Soulstaff," she says. "And without a key, we can't let you out," she explains before motioning over to the thief. "Unless he decides to try to be useful that is."

[Jenara]

"Pleased ta meet ya Miss Soulstaff, it is Miss right, ice maidens often don't have partners.." he grins, "Now I'm betting the big fella can deal with the door, but no matter, get me my gear, I am known for my skills all over Greyhawk." He motions to the pile of equipment.

"Funny that I haven't heard of you before." Echo walks over to the pile of gear just sitting on the floor, picks it up, and returns it back to the cage. "Ice monster, Ice witch, Ice maiden. You guys are getting really creative with the nicknames," she says, obviously not very impressed at all.

[Jenara]

"I Meant no offense." he grins, delving into the stuff he produces a long thin pick, opening the door with ease. "Now if you'll excuse me." He looks at his clothes.

Searos continues wandering around the room picking at the odd loose stone here and there.

"Didn't you see notice in town, Chills? Its theme day!"

Searos blithely waves at the halfling over the shoulder. "Even he heard about it."

"Thank me? for what?" Kim looks at Brax, bewildered.

[Jenara]

"The situation in Greyhawk city, your aid. I believe some of us would be dead now." She smiles and looks down.

(Adding history of something that never happened, feel free to make up what ever you like on this.)

"It would seem you did not need help after all," Amon comments. "Can you find your way back to town safely, Mister Tallmaster?"

[Jenara]

"Aye, but I needed the picks, without them I'd be stuck." He grins, "Now, you don't think i'll be letting you get all the treasure do ya?" With that he changes, packs up his gear and strides over to Searos.

"So young un, what did you find?"

(So, Mod logs say Jaded, changed the Colours for master Tallfellow, i forget you guys use the other theme... Still, please let me know there is a problem at least!)

Searos looks down at the halfling a little agog.

"You actually expect me to tell you? How do I know you aren't working for these guys? Perhaps caging yourself up and giving yourself a savage beating was only part of your clever plan to gain our confidence. Simply put, I don't know you and I trust you even less than I trust anybody else here."

[Jenara]

"Well, you have two choices, don't you? Either you trust me, or you don't either way, I am coming along." Absentmindedly he pushes a few stones from the dividing wall to the cellar, they fall though easily.

"Hmm, I don't know, Master Searos. If he was planted here for us to find, wouldn't it have been better to put him in the open, instead of down here, under a secret passage?" Amon asks.

Gudrum grins at Amon, "That would be true."
