"Well, I didn't hear what the Demon told you through Dara." Babushka answers. "All I can say is that even the truth often has many facets, there are different ways to look at things. This is what often makes it so difficult to decide what is right or wrong. Sometimes, we do what we think is right, only to discover later that it wasn't." She sighs, looking into the distance, yet not really seeing anything.

"Oh I can tell you that!" Lockys head perks up, "It played on weakness to get you to fight, to spill blood.. I don't quite get what it was saying about Jerrard, something about overpowering me, and wanting to get me like that." the kender says with an innocent shrug.

"We were connected, me and Dara, I could hear what she said. It was lies, do you really think that of me? I think you really did the best thing for your son." moving she rests close to the Princess, "I know it was hard for you." resting her head on her leg she closes her eyes.

"Hmm." Jerrard blushes although its almost impossible to tell because of his wounds. "They were designed to hurt."

Imani looks down at the kender now resting her head on her leg. Absently, she runs her fingers through her hair as she would a child's. "The best way to hurt someone is to speak the truth, at least in some way," she says gently. "I will be all right, " she adds to pretty much everyone. "I just haven't been away from my son for more than a day, and I miss him more than anything."

"It hurt you because you think its true." The Kender responds sleepily, "Well I'm glad you made the choice you did.. When we get through this, perhaps we can arrange to get him? I mean we still have to get those kender too..." with that she starts to snore softly.

"Yeah, maybe," Imani said wishfully. She looks down at the sleeping kender then back to the others. "The rest of you get some sleep. I have this first watch."
