Anyone else have anything they need to do just now? Teleport spells to be cast?

Or can we skip to 12 noon when Allikhaine shows up and we roust Ke'Sha out of his meditations to head into the Labyrinth?

Jack is good to go as always.

Jag is ready, he didn't have much for spells to get ready.

His Word of Recall is set for just outside of camp, ready to rock.

Rousting Ke'Sha might make him miss resurrection a tip the balance toward animating... ;)

That's a possibility. But is it worth whatever Tristan has planned to gleefully spring on us if we wait until tomorrow to go in?

Depends...
1. Is it really worse for Ke'Sha to animate instead of resurrect? If not, it's a win win.
2. Does making the adventure even harder is good or bad for the players? Aren't you curious to know what did he plan, even if it will make it difficult?

So I guess 'worth' in the greater scope is difficult to decide.
If you strictly measure the difficult level between 'Ke'Sha has more spells' to 'Tristan will show us the true wrath of the DM God' then I guess you are correct. :)

Did any of Ke'Sha's initial undead survive his first foray into the Labyrinth?

Only one skeleton. Rattle, his favorite servant, has gone to the pit, The Lord of Undead will savor his soul. Ho and Rror (The cool names were Tristen's idea) melted by the black jelly, together with zo the zombie and three other skeletons that didn't manage to take a breath :)

For me it's never "the wrath of the DM god" it's always "the bad guys aren't fools and will prepare appropriately to the utmost of their understanding/ ability against an outside threat (PCs)"

Soo... they know we can summon fire elementals and have one really tremendous front-line fighter. And can play Dimensional Door shenanigans.

And that we have someone who can block scrying attempts.

Basically. And probably they know that you have the first rune if you left any evidence of your trespass into the room with the blood orb and/or divination able to discern that...

Oh yeah, divination is a powerful thing so... they may know much more...

Is it really? Did we just screw ours up somehow? Because we didn't get very much.

There are many different types of divination spells

So.... Vision? But that's a pretty dangerous spell to cast, depending on the whims of the deity you ask for a vision from.

Dang it! I knew I should have taken Spirit Lore!

But as I like to say about 2e Psionicists - you can build one to do almost anything, but you can't build one to do almost everything.

Yeah, it's a trade-off for sure. Any mage smart enough can learn all the spells in the world if they can find them.

But while psionicists get locked into their chosen abilities, the versatility of a point system and not having to choose daily spells and populate 'spell slots' is Huge

I really like the 'anything but not everything' aspect of psionicists. It means no two psionicists are alike (unless you just copy the advancement templates from The Will and the Way, anyway). And they can fill just about any niche the party needs filled, without worrying about them taking over someone else's niche.
