Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
Not being quite sure what he's just been told by Ishan, Hihim smiles and says, "As long as it's all right, then it's alright, isn't it," and then looks around, not really expecting an answer.
"So do we know where we're off to?", he adds, keen to see more of the outside world than the Inn, charming as it is. Bars aren't really his thing; not yet, anyway. "And when might we be we ready to go?"

Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
Entire party except Benji
There are a few people in here this morning getting breakfast at this hour, not farmers as they’re already out working in their fields, but hunters and tradesmen are here at this hour having breakfast.
The innkeeper, who’s been busily working away making breakfasts for the patrons, speaks on the last topic mentioned: “Well I don’t much know where you’re planning on going. Yesterday some of you were in here and sounding rather keen to go meet the orcs in the southern forest to the southeast of here. So that might be your destination. What I do know however is that you might have to wake up your friend if you were planning on leaving this morning. He was working up quite a tab last night. Nice singer up until about a pint and a half in. I don’t envy the person brave enough to try and wake him if that’s what you want.”

Keen to be seen to be useful and rather oblivious to that potential danger Hihim offers, "Sure, I can do that. Can you refresh me on his name and room number? And would you like to send someone with me to let me in? Or give me a spare key, maybe?" He lowers his voice as his cheeks strain to match the colour of the red wine behind the bar, "Sorry if any of that is bad manners in any way. I'm really sortof new to all this."

Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
Ishan stares at the stool where he thought he saw Benji., realizing it was a small dog instead, "go away shoo, arf arf, grrrrrr!"
Turning to the dwarf he grins widely again, "well we can't have you being inexperienced, that would be terrible!"
Running upstairs to Benji's room he hammers on the door yelling, "Wakeup wakeup wakeup wakeup wakeup wakeup wakeup wakeup wakeup wakeup!" stopping only to yell to the dwarf, "Bring the key he is clearly in need of assistance!" before repeating himself until the bard comes out or till he passes out.
(Intimidate on pathetic dog)

Hihim comments, "Ishan seems very excitable. Won't the other guests be disturbed? Perhaps you could give me a key and then I can try to persuade Ishan to calm down."

Whole party
"Solina, please help these gentlemen." The innkeeper concedes, talking to the same waitress that had made Gaheris and Jasmine's room last night.
She gets up and makes her way to Ishan "Please quiet down, you might disturb the guests." Then, pulling out a key she quietly knocks on Benjamin's door. "Are you decent right now? Your companions seem very anxious to see you."

"If you can get ready right away, we can be on our way," encourages Hihim, still not having the faintest idea where they're headed nor why.
Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
A thud and a groan sound out as the key clacks in the room's lock. A pile of linens with a red, bleary-eyed drow in nothing but his undercloth lie in an assorted heap on the hardwood floor, hair everywhere as the knotted mess attempts to untangle itself. "Hurgh... I feel I may have... made some mistakes..." He spits out, the tone cutting out for the need to vomit. He manages not to, at least not until he gets to his feet (hair still trapped in the sheets) and stumbles to the windowsill where he ejects what was imbibed the night before.
Feeling "refreshed", He half-dresses and grabs his belongings before stumbling to the nearest chamberpot. "You lot," he says with drained face and rasp'd speech to those who would wake him, but not one in particular, "I apologize for my sorry... urk, my sorry state, here. It feels like I've forgotten something important."

What Solina says
Despite the sorry state of the drow that appears, Solina still smiles. She's seen plenty of poor looking folk in the morning, good to know that it can happen to drow as well. "Perhaps you're forgetting about a duel? Your companions mentioned something about you annoying a Slith."

Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
The bard only slightly overhears the bad news over relieving himself. It seems like it doesn't register for a while.
"Ah, yes," He says apprehensively after a pause, "THAT matter. Well, after I'm done with this I suppose I'll extol the virtues of making oneself scarce to my happy company. I don't imagine our staff-happy slith has grown an inwit or has a soft spot for drunks, and probably the best lesson we can teach is that you can't kill every bloke you disagree with since they oft won't stand around for you to do so."
Finishing up, he nods to Ishan, "I was of the mind that drow were not your favoured sort, but thank ye for your energy in waking me and likely the rest of the inn. I'm sure that if you left me here to foot our debt of honour, so-to-speak, you would be better off."

Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
"Well, I'm going to go and try and sell the rest of this loot now that everything is open again," Gaheris says. "Someone ask the drow what he wants done with his share, and his other possessions, if he dies in the duel." The rogue then sets out to the market.
Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
"Oh, I thought we were leaving?" Hihim comments, failing to suppress a pout. "So when's the duel? Now? Or should I come and help you in the market? I never really got to the market before."

Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
Jasmine simply watches everyone quietly, then shakes her head slightly. "I'm with the dwarf about wanting to leave this place," she admits as she stretches out her arms over her head. "But I guess I'll try to be patient."
Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
"So will I", adds Hihim. "But where will we actually be going? Or is that a secret?"

Re: The Quest of the Missing Quill
Ishan sticks his tounge out at the barmaid as she leaves before looking at Benji. Placing an arm gently on each shoulder of the drown he leanest in and says, "I would never let you carry this burden alone my friend."
As he watches Gaheris leave for the market he flails his arms around and says to the dwarf, "Never been eh? I guess your really serious about your duties that might explain your lack of experience in certain areas hmmm," He angles his head towards Jasmine. "That's fine, we can start out via the market the next chapter of the Order of the Quill!"
He beckons to the party to follow him before heading off after Gaheria, yelling back to Hihim, "I'll tell you the goal of our quest on the way all this standing around makes me sleepy."
