Searos gratefully accepts Gunter's help getting up though he shoos him away as he tries to dust him off. "I'm not a child muscles, though that... that thing, certainly made me look like one. What did I tell you though? Trap. I'm beginning to think some of our members like walking into them."

Searos turns the hat over in his hands for a few moments. "Actually, don't you think the hat would look better on Patches?"

Having passed his finds to the group, Henry walks over to Brax. "My lady, you seem to be hurt. May I help you to walk?" He offers his arm.

\"A gentleman? Thank you, yes I am very weak.\" Brax takes his arm and walks slowly.

After a few moments of silence, Henry asks haltingly: "Has the witch cursed you to make your skin that dark?"

Brax laughs painfully, clutching her wounded frame.

"The only curse I bear is that of my heritage." she replies after the laughter fades away. "Sorry i was not laughing at you, rather myself. I am cursed by being a child of Lloth, although I have long since escaped her power." she could still feel the spiders on her neck.

"I was born far below the earth, where Pelors light does not shine."

(She collected her clothes and gear, has her blocked over her under dress.)

(It was agreed that everybody walk up to camp first unburdened and the gear would be collected by the able-bodied later)

(then she just has her cloak, for dignitys sake.)

"Brave? No, merely foolish," Amon says to Henry. He glances at the clothes the lad found, but if they hold any significance, they are lost on the mage.

"If you were foolish, then so was I." Brax comments, looking at the clothes, "Did the creatures get these people I wonder?"

Are there any bloodstains or rips/tears on the clothes?

The belt leather still attached to the buckle looks as if the rest of it had been chewed off, and closer examination of the boot shows it has a big gash that could have been caused by a claw. Everything shows evidence of having had a rough time in the seawater, so bloodstains would probably be washed out to near invisibility.

"A child of Loth?" Henry asks in bewilderment. "I have never heard of Loth. What is that heritage you speak of?"

Painfully leaning down near the damaged clothing, she grasps a piece on her hand. "Something attacked these people, probably the sea cat.." Carefully touching the wound to her side she notes the claw marks.

" Henry.” She reaches out, hoping he will help her stand. "Lloth is the Queen of Spiders, her people the Drow reside in the underground city of Erelhei-Cinlu."

"My Heritage is complicated, but I fled my homeland, and came to the world here on the surface.” Reaching for Pelors Symbol she clutches it tightly. "My calling is to Pelor, he gives me strength.”

Gunter ponders over the clothes for a few seconds, scratching his beard.

"So, do you think the other missing townsfolk fell in to the same trap we did?"

"Yes or there are more out there." Brax replies.

Searos stands off to the side. "Well, it seems we've solved that little mystery. See a pretty girl on a rock, approach, and get torn to shreds. What else is new..."
