Landro carries the remaining staffs to the dead-end shaft and drops them one by one. The sound of shattering glass and clattering iron echoes up from below, followed by silence. Landro dusts his hands off and replaces the lid after a nod of satisfaction.

Gur begins scanning the burned bodies. Hey boss! They all got magic rings! He screeches greedily.

Landro, near one of the downed trolls nods. Ah... yes they do.. He breaks a charred finger off to slip the ring. Holding it in his palm it remains quite large. May I? Jack asks, holding out a hand. The giant kin drops the object into his ally's palm, breaking another free from a separate troll to examine for himself. Jack frowns, You know... often magic items will re-shape themselves to fit whomever holds them.. but this one isn't... I guess that means without a way to magically Enlarge us or Reduce the rings, then Landro here may be the only one who can use these... The rogue muses.

I suppose that means I won't have to Fight any of you for one. The Giant-kin chuckles. But what do they do? He asks the others.

Ke'Sha waves with his hand in dismissal, "Sure, you can take it, you big troll. Or maybe not a troll YET." And he smiles evilly.
"We could use the puddings to burn holes in things... Like metal doors for example... Oh well... So anyone can detect the nature of the rings? Would it be invisibility as the trolls were invisible?"
============================================================
(OOC: Maybe it was oversight, but what can Ke'Sha create either than zombies and skeletons that might be more effective than the monsterous zombies and we have the time and resources to do?
Thanks)

Landro chuckles at Ke'sha. You're welcome to one of the other 5 that you can't use.' He teases, gesturing to the other charred bodies.

Glancing to the others, Landro raises the item in his palm. I don't suppose anyone else had any healing or identifying magic they'd be willing to share...?

Higher level undead require higher level spells to cast
Which memorized spell are you thinking of using?

"Well that was exciting, got the blood flowing."
He will climb down to finish the conversation.
"Have we found a way forward?"

Ke'Sha looks glumly at the 'soup' that was left from his undead. "Forward? Yeah, death is waiting forward. I'm counting on it." he says a bit distracted. "Let's climb down again."
===============================================================
(OOC: Hmm... I don't know if there are any such spells in 2nd edition. I think the purpleworm clerics of the death lord could have some ritual to make juju zombies and mummies.
I also found this link: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spel ... te-undead/
According to this link, if Ke'Sha had the spells and the REAL GOD will allow it (*nudge* *nudge*) then a mummy would cost about 400 gp and wight about 200gp. JuJu zombie about 100gp, etc. Nice selection of more sustainable undead. Still max HD is about 8 which could die quickly, but such stronger undead have some resistance that helps them survive better.)

[Who is going first and which way? Hatch C (with the giant metal door) or Hatch D (where the trolls came from]

"Landro, let's check the metal door again. I saw something in the pit behind it. Maybe we can reopen it."

(OOC: Landro leads in hatch C and Ke'Sha follows.)

Landro and Ke'sha descend the square shaft to return to the room with the large metal door (which is currently shut). Above, Jack conceals himself in the shadows of the snake head and keeps watch. Allikhain stands near the ladder in quiet conversation with 'Binky'

"OK. So this door was shut on Rattle. Shattered his bones, so to speak. Do you think you can reopen it and maybe make sure it won't shut on us again?" Ke'Sha asks Landro.

=================================================================================
(OOC: Did Ke'Sha was able to see how the door got closed? Could he see it through rattle eyes? It just fell straight down? Are there chains holding it? wheels? ... )

[Ooc] Ke'sha could not see the door through rattle's eyes since the skeleton was looking down into the pit beyond, so the angle was wrong... [/ooc]

Ke'sha inspects the workings of the door and finds no chains, but that it slides on a metal track pinned to the wall. There are rollers on the top and bottom of the door to keep it in the track, but the track doesn't go all of the way to the ceiling... Previously, it seemed some levitation magic made it easy to lift

Landro looks around, No evidence of the skeleton... not even a finger bone. He moves towards the massive door, cautiously taking the handle. With a mighty effort the giant-kin heaves upward against the door but it doesn't budge in the least. Relenting his efforts for a moment the firbolg scratches his head. I should be able to lift that, even without aid... something is different... he muses.

A moment later Binky descends and floats over nearby. Sup, b!tc#e$? The ol' ball-and-chain sent me to make sure you two don't get dead or some $#it... Hey, the door is kinda different. The little 2-dimensional looking shadow articulates in a refined voice. It has some Alteration magic on it, but it's different from last time... Is it Locked? Might be a Wizard Lock... fck!n wizards always lockin' me outta tha beat $#it

Not unless he follows or Ke'sha mentions it mentally
