"Thank you, umm, Sir Karl, is it?" she fumbles the words. "Sorry but I don't really know the proper words of address."
Jerry smiles lop-sidedly. "Nonetheless, I think letting the insect swarm devour those unpleasant undead is the right thing to do. Seems I wasted a spell. Oh well, better safe than sorry."

Unless Karl wishes to converse she will return to Merrick's side.

Pros will pull out his Hoopak, and poke the bodies with the proverbial stick.

Pyros runs about, gathering up his missing sling bullets before edging up to the magical swarm. The insects continue to erode the bodies little by little as he curiously pokes one of the unresponsive corpses with the end of his hoopak. Elsa and Adrestia seem to have some injuries, but the pair wave off any attempts at healing for now.

"Yep, they dead! Well dead again? UnUndead?" He will then see if he can find any other interesting stones.

Cross will keep up the spell for its duration unless stopped.

"Any other creatures in the valley with us?" to Fenrir.

Jerry makes mental notes of what they've leaned about this rare type of undead:

• Needs magical weapons to hit,
  Resistant to magical pierce
  Resistant to magical crush
  Affected by magic but ignore magic missile

Taking Merrick's arm she asks him, "That was a Spectral Hand, wasn't it? What spell were you trying to deliver with it?"

"Sir Karl Mordrane Sularia." Karl answers in his formal tone, "Those of the Nobility would call me Sir Karl. Karl is acceptable among friends." Rubbing his moustaches to ensure they are once again perfect he inclines his head to Jerry, "Your Lady is returned safely." And with that he navigates himself towards both Bayard and the Young Woman astride him.

"You are safe, of that I am pleased. My Honor demanded I protected you, and yet I was needed in the fight. Bayard, and Lady Mira were able to do what I was not." He pats Mira's arm a moment nervously before offering his hand to Tarlyn to help her dismount, "My Lady."

"Oh, I did what I could." Mira taps his hand lightly in return, this place.. it ate away at the soul, she didnt belong, and yet a pretty face called to her, willed her to come back..

Merrick nods, but hesitates before replying. When he does, he speaks it quietly only to Jerry. Chilling touch. He watches her expression closely, presumably to see if she recognizes it.

Thank you all. This is truly an evil place to have such... things. But I never asked, what brought you all here? Did you hear of the hag and come to slay her?

Elsa nods approvingly as Cross maintains his spell to erode the undead. After a few more minues there is little left but stumps and collapsing torsos. The halfling moves to Mira. You ok? Every time I start to think I have some idea of what to expect.. she shakes her head. We need to find that crown and get out of here, back to civilization.

"We come from other words, places beyond the mists." Karl explains, relying on Mira to explain some of the words and ideas. "We came seeking a Crown that it is said has the power to return us home. If we would have known of the Evil that resided here.." He clenches his fist tightly. "Rescuing you was a happy accident, but one perhaps the Gods sent us to fulfil." He bows, kissing her hand if she allows before grasping her by the waist and carefully lowering her to the ground once more.

"Its like I feel the darkness pressing down on me, like a huge weight.. I find moments, places, people." She grins, remembering blonde hair flying widly.. "They push the darkness away." Mira explains, "Lets get this damn Crown." She turns to Tarlyn. "We have to free her first. And fix Pyros."

"Don't you worry about me! I can probably use this to get out of trouble with some guards in some towns!" He will hop around a bit, practising using his Hoopak Crutch.

Artanis nods, The most likely place we've come across seems to be the cave across the way. he gestures to the second cavern entrance.

"Onward!" Pyros cheers!

"Seems logical."

"Are you ok to continue?" She asks Tarlyn, keeping near her, "I dont like the idea of you being stuck out here alone, but we may encounter more trouble. Can you use any other weapons?"
