"Morning?" the human repeats, looking out the window to confirm that it is, indeed, still night. "Oh, I get it. That's some kind of Sarenrae thing, right? Like, 'it's always morning in your heart' or some such nonsense?" He stands nearly two feet higher than Hihim, although is much lankier in build, probably weighing a good 20 pounds less. He has short brown hair, dark brown eyes, and a light complexion. On his face is a well trimmed light mustache. He wears the clothes of a traveler, with simple leather armor over it and has a bow slung over his shoulder, making him appear to be the quintessential adventurer.

"But yeah, I am Gaheris Argent. Do you have a message from Father Warren or something?"

"Well, yes, good one! Please you meet you, Gaheris Argent," Hihim responds, somewhat unsure of himself, but zealously keen to escape from the confines of the temple.
"And yes, on both counts. I have a message from Father Warren and a something, as well. He said I need to view more of the world than just the inside of the temple walls and recommended you to me for that and that we'd probably get along. He seemed to think I'd be useful to you as well. "

The dwarf pauses, being unversed in small talk, then adds, "I'm the something."

"glass of imperialism it is, oh and a room as well, hard to keep a reading candle lit with no walls," Zurgo requested without taking his eyes from the pages. Though when he looked up at their newcomer he laughed and slammed the table to regain attention of their server.

"scratch that, make that the whole bottle of imperialism!"

"So! one of Warren's boyz?" finally addressing Hihim. "well he was barely competent enough for me to trust him, so WELCOME! I'm Zurgo. Keep me alive, i'll keep you alive,"

"Zurgo? OK, right, um, pleased to meet you, Zurgo," replies Hihim.
"I can do healing, yes. Do you, any of you, need it?" he asks, hopefully, keen to demonstrate his usefulness.

Jasmine looks over to the newcomer curiously before she turns around to face him with a charming smile. "Aww, Father Warren sent us someone that is pretty much new to the outside world," she said. "Should I break him in?" she asked teasingly.

Hihim looks at the lady. His mouth opens and shut a couple of times, but no sound comes out, apart from a very faint "...eeek..."

Ishan stows the mixtures in his satchel before heading to the inn he keeps an eye out for any imperials just in case. When he gets there he wipes the grimace off his face and jumps into the conversation. Sneaking up on the dwarf in the scale mail he clamps a hand on his shoulder, "Yes she's quite the looker isn't she but watch out she's already claimed my bearded friend."

He waves his hand around the room at each of his companions, "That's Zurgo the orc and magical knight destroyer of circles, we had this arc with us as well white hair dark skin one of those drow you know but not a bad guy if a little odd, we had another dwarf with us but he's decided to go his own way its good you showed up our beard levels were very low. You've met Jasmine a talented dancer both on and off the battlefield, and finally our fearless leader, scoundrel and good man Gaheris, and lastly myself Ishan Fordring former imperial soldier and now just Ishan.

Ishan stands tall and broad he wears his gear like a seasoned soldier his face has a rough beard with a touch of grey that peppers his hair as well, he carries a satchel and many pockets holding vials. He rests on a spear and a bow and quiver are lashed to his back.

"We are currently on an adventure why don't you pick your jaw up and tell us why your here otherwise I'm going to bed, I've got to run away from an angry slith in the morning.

"I don't know..," Gaheris says with uncertainty. "We are a very exclusive group. To join, there are numerous and grueling tests, exams and rites that must be observed. We are a highly trained, elite team that go way back, after all. It's not like we're a bunch of random strangers who were all in the same inn at the same time yesterday! So, do you think you have what it takes to be part of our operation?" He looks down at the dwarf. "If so, we can begin with your stamina tests. Jasmine will handle those. Be forewarned, though, few men have the endurance to last against her. Many have died trying. One guy even lost some fingers."

Hihim almost jumps out of his skin, more about having been caught staring at the lady Jasmine than anything else.
"Ishan, yes, nice beard," mutters the dwarf, moving the conversation, inane or not, to something he has experience with.

"I'm please to meet you. All of you, of course," the cleric continues. "Father Warren said he thought I could be useful to you, mending wounds maybe. And gain some experience too." His eyes tried to slide across to Jasmine.

With an audible gulping noise, he was saved by having to look back in the other direction at Gaheris, "Exclusive... trained elite...I see..", Hihim says, shoulders visibly slumping.
He look up hopefully as Gaheris continues, and then replies, "Father Warren thinks I can and I trust him. What do I have to do? I can't dance though."

"Just because I might be a dancer doesn't mean I'm going to test you in such skills," Jasmine says with a smile. She slinks over to the newest recruit, swats down to about his height, and twirls a little of his beard around her index finger. "You're looking a little pale," she teases.

"your only task now...feiern jetzt kämpfen morgen," Zurgo resounded stoically before attempting to empty half the bottle of red into his glass. "we'll see tomorrow if you can do what you say you do, until then, DRINK TO THE LAST!"

Hihim's determined efforts to keep his eyes on Jasmine's face come to naught when she crouches down in front of him and twiddles his beard.

Anyone else doing that would provoke a stern word at the very least. But this enchanting lady seems to have a certain way with her.
Him eyes drop to below her face and then his ruddy face blushes to the colour of a strawberry and then pales like a sheet as his eyes meet hers and he realises he's been seen staring.
His mouth ceases to function again.

Rescued again by a call of "... DRINK TO THE LAST!" from Zurgo, the dwarf turns to him and replies, "Beyond the small glass of ceremonial wine on holy days, the only thing I usually drink is water. And very occasionally fruit juice with breakfast as a treat." He pauses, and adds "Look, I feel like I'm not doing very well here. I admit I've seen little of the world outside the temple." He succeeds in keeping his eyes off Jasmine's pretty form. "But I do revere Sarenrae and I'm good at it. By your leave, I will show you, and help to repair any minor wounds you may have." Hihim holds his divine symbol and looks from face to face, Gaheris..Jasmine..Zurgo..Jasmine, for permission.

Gaheris chuckles. "Yeah, at this point I think calling you sheltered might be an understatement. We're just messing with you, dwarf. If Father Warren vouches for you, that's good enough for me. We could probably use a cleric with all of the undead we've been fighting lately."

Hihim looks rather shocked, looking round the small sea of new faces.
He then bursts out laughing, "Just like altar boys sewing up each others cassocks!"

The belly laugh seems disproportionate but genuine enough, and then stops, mouth open again, this time staring at Gaheris's face rather than some other part of a pretty lady.

"Sorry, I missed the 'undead' first time around. I so do _not_ like undead, an affront to nature. My studies specialized in learning how to smite them. Father Warren says I'm very good at it."
It's clear that this rather innocent dwarf isn't boasting, just stating a fact, like saying 'water is wet'.

Hihim continues, "Thank you, Gaheris, I promise to do my best to service you and your colleagues faithfully. Starting now. Do you have any more colleagues tucked away that could do with a bit of healing?"

***
When anyone that wants or needs healing is gathered within 30' of Hihim, "Behold the poawer of Sarenrae!"
{OOC: channeling positive energy, +1d6 hit points healed to all within 30'.}

The cleric then heals {OOC: Cure Light Wounds, +1d8+2 hit points} the two still most badly damaged.

Jasmine snickers lightly as she stands back up, and joins Gaheris at his side again. "Poor thing look like he might faint there for a second," she admits. She wraps her arm around Gaheris', and rests her head lightly upon his shoulder.
