(OOC: The SRD doesn't specify, although in 2E rules, the effect lasts 10-60 (1d6) minutes.)

There is one mistake I made when I did the last post around midnight after a long day:
The sea cat holds Brax firmly in its paws, ready to bite her the next round. She can be freed with a successful "open doors" check.
According to my data, the strength loss lasts 1 turn, that is 10 rounds. The most strenuous thing Searos could do would be to take something out of his pack or walk a bit without any gear.

(Forget the spell then.)
Brax wobbles on her legs, her body suffering from the damage as she weakly lashes out with any body part that is free.. Trying to free herself, without success.
Open Doors:
1d20=16 (Fail)

"stand
still you ugly parody of an cat!" Vee shouts as she misses.
Vee reaches back for another strike, but striking and calling: "is everything ok?" to Brax doesen't fit together so good...

"I'm bleeding in the water, and my chest hurts..." She says weakly, trying to keep on fighting.

Searos does the one thing he feels capable of doing right now. He lies down on his side. He also groans a bit.

Gunter spits on the sea-hag as she drops to the rocks and turns his attention to the sea-cat that's attacking Brax.
1d20 = 9 (I'm guessing that's a miss!)

I will roll everyone's initiative and resolve the round tomorrow.
Are you sure you will not try to free Brax from the sea cat's grip? It otherwise has a +4 bite attack on her every round! An open door check is needed.

Kim searches through the pack Brax left on the shore, hoping to find a healing potion.
Brax tries to free herself from the sea cat's grip, but fails. The sea cat bites her viciously, all she can do is to pull her head away so it gets her shoulder. The bite causes enough damage, however, to make her fall unconscious, bleeding heavily.
The female sea cat tries to get at Vee once again, but it's not her day. As she tries to lunge herself out of the water, her tail gets caught under an outcrop of a submerged rock and her paws don't even come close to hitting Vee. Vee herself is not much luckier, her attack misses the animal as well.
Amon and Gunter both attack Troll, who at the moment still has Brax in his paws. Gunter misses, but Amon manages to give him a good smack on the nose. Seeing himself under attack by two foes, Troll releases Brax, who now risks drowning on top of bleeding to death if no one helps her.
Echo has a difficult target with Trall moving constantly, but manages to sink a dart into the seacat's neck.
Meanwhile, the triton had moved her hands and softly chanted something. Soon after, two wakes move quickly into the inlet, drawn by slender, slightly curve, triangular fins.

Gunter gives Amon a quick salute after his strike on the seacat and the dives after Brax before she can sink/float away so he can try and drag her on to the rocks.

Brax curses herself unconciously... drifting off to a safe place in her mind.

"Withdraw!" Amon calls. "Back to land! Hurry, they're calling reinforcements!" he shouts, referring to the sharks heading their way.
With that, he carefully makes his way back to land, moving backwards so he doesn't expose his back to the enemy. Dogmeat follows forlornly.
Meanwhile, Echo does nothing. Her darts are all but useless against the big seacats. There is nothing she can contribute to this round.

Gunter is very quick to act, he manages to get Brax and hoist her onto the ridge dividing two tide pools, into relative saftety, before he is attacked by Troll who is angry at finding his prey taken away. However, both paws of the sea cat fail to hit the ranger.
Brax could be dragged to shore by Amon from where she is now, especially if Echo helps.
Vee does not heed Amon's call, instead she continues to attack the female sea cat, Trall. She only manages to churn up the water, though. The cat, this time, is finally successful and gives Vee a long gash in her arm, causing 2 points of damage.
The triton had held out both hands to the arriving animals, and soon enough, two bottle noses are rising out of the water, greeting her with a series of clicks. She points them in the direction of the seacats, and after some more clicks, the porpoises dive again.
