Artanis wakes early, tends to his needs and then exits the barn with the pups - letting them stretch, run and play. When he hears Elsa call out that they have brooms for sale, he laughs and loudly replies in a jolly tone: "Brooms? Did you and Mira use them to fly here?"

Jerry grimaces, pauses, and then chuckles.
"Welcome back. You both ok? Anything much happen?"

Pyros will jump up and "float" over to the door to help bring the food to the table.

The aroma of fresh biscuits wafts through the cabin. Cross, who had just finished his studying on the couch, suddenly snaps his head up. Food! The dagger mage becomes a blur as he rushes into the kitchen and stokes the stove fire. The food is laid out on the kitchen table, and the party finds fresh-baked biscuits and a clay vessel full of warm sawmill gravy. There are also eggs, ready to be fried.

In a half an instant, cross has two cast-iron skillets out and heating. He slices wide strips from a thick slab of meat, grinning at the group, Who wants Boar bacon?! You haven't Lived until you've tried boar bacon!. He drops a staggering number of fresh bacon into the pans, the sizzling sound and aroma of bacon fills the room. Once both pans have started to render the fat, he transferrs the bacon all into one, and begins cracking eggs into the other to fry. The meal is soon ready and laid out. The Boar bacon is indeed unique; like a cross between pork and beef, with a rich, nutty flavor and a special juicy succulence.

"Brooms?? No the house is only an hour from Ontash's house. We would have come back last night but the others just.. well they vanished. We waited to see if they came back." Mira says as she leaves Cross to his cooking, still a little shocked that cross could cook!

"Jacques, he wasn't a great neighbour, most of the things here were stolen from Ontash's, and he replaced them. He said take whatever we wanted." She grins at Artanis, ignoring the broom, witch suggestion. "Breakfast, safe, then head off?"

We still want to see what is in the safe, yes? The invisible Merrick asks with an odd chuckle.

Sitting down to enjoy a small piece of bacon Mira shakes her head. "Jerry.. you know you can end the spell with a thought right?" She teases, "Unless.." she tips her head to Jerry. "We are fine Jerry, nothing had happened to us"

"Glad you are both ok," Jerry smiles back. "Few things beat the smell of bacon, huh?"
She shakes something out of her hair. "What spell wat it the you thought I should end, Mira? If it's Merrick's condition, I think he's just fine."

"Then I shall say no more." She winks at Jerry and bites into the bacon.

Jerry frowns in puzzlement and joggles Mira's elbow, making the bacon shake alarmingly, "No, you cant just shut up like that; it's not right. Which spell effect?"

"Oh Jerry my dear.. I mean that Merrick is still Invisible." She giggles actually glad Merrick was Invisible so his blush couldn't be seen.

"Oh.. right. Yes, he is. Um, that's my idea. I want to see how long it can last," she replies.

Artanis will join Pyros with tucking into the food.
