Searching the ship

"It's a flat blade used in wood carving." Reller explains. "It is kind of like an axehead twisted sideways. They are used for making planks, but they could be good weapons perhaps."

Indeed, Kulop has no difficulty finding the adze once Reller has described it. It's hanging on a peg fixed to the bulkhead, and the handle is kept in place with a leather latch. However, the peg is so high on the wall that Kulop would have to push tha handle up to get it down, he can't reach the blade with his hands.

"I see it!" Kulop calls. "Why did they put it so high? such inconsiderate of them!"

Gustas lumbers over intrigued, "Oh an Adze blade eh?" He reaches over Kulop's head and grabs the blade, holding it up to inspect it's martial qualities as Reller suggested. "A little short and small for my liking" Gustas admits, "You'd have a hard time skewering a swinging swashbuckler with this if they tried to board ya. Better off with me pike or an oar even haha!"

"Well, maybe I could find a use to it." Kulop says holding up his hand.

[mgbevan]

"Didn't think you were much for the stabbing type!" Gustas chuckles, "Come on, let's head to that last part of the boat"

[BishGada]

"I can stick it in a wooden wall and hangs stuff on it. Or use it to break open boxes. Or in case I don't have scissors... Or maybe I can put it under shoes and slide on the ice... Or..." Kulop keeps mumbling while following the rest.

The party is now back on the main deck, Kulop carrying the adze he almost has to hold aloft like a banner - it's about three quarters as tall as he is. Brax and Martin are waiting for them, with Oceanus who looks a lot better now that he has been liberally doused with seawater. There are three doors leading into the sterncastle of which the group doesn't know yet where they lead.

"Wait! Wait!" Kulop says anxiously. Then seeing nobody was moving to the doors anyway he says disappointed, "Oh... you are waiting already..." Then his face lit, "To see the marvelous new use of this... this... shiny blade." He tries finding his words. "This must be a 'Faith Chooser.'" He says triumphantly. "That's why it is so heavy! After all, deciding faiths is a heavy task." He stands before the doors, puts the blade on the floor and swings it so it revolve in its place. "Now we shall see which door should we open." He waits a few seconds and when finally the blade stops and points to no door he says, "Oh dear! They must have broken it. So it is up to me again." He leaves the blade on the floor and goes to check the doors carefully eventually picking the left most one. He tries to open it and gestures to the rest to follow.

Gustas collects the spun blade and helps Kulop with the left door if required. If the door is locked he will declare, "This is how you use a blade!" and attempt to prise the door from its hinges.

[Jenara]

Quick time lapse:
"Sadly the blood of the drow passes through me.. I have atoned for my sin's.." She adds as she sits next to him.

And we're back:
"What..?" The priestess starts to say but instead she places her head in her hand's. "It appears that choas has taken over, i must see to Pelors will." Turning to Martim she shoots him a smile and motions to Oceanus. "Sit with him please?"

With that she rises to her feet. "Stop." Her voice is true and clear. "What in Pelors name is going on here??"

Reller looks around to see the full scene and get a general view of things.

"We are continuing the search!" Kulop exclaims happily. "Follow us! Gustas found the way to use the 'Faith chooser'!"

[Jenara]

"You people are clearly crazy." Giving a huge sigh of exasperation Brax stands before the two men, her hands on her hips. "Regardless, let us search the remaining ship... Master Reller, if you would accompany us?" She motions to the door they were trying to prise open.

If it's locked she just kicks it open..

"Subtlety and Grace are showing in your every move. Even the brutal ones." Kulop smiles at Brax. "I wonder why people always kick doors open and almost never kick them close." Kulop follows the rest but his mind is elsewhere, "Maybe it's a good exercise for the body. We all should have several minutes of kicking doors every morning... Maybe I can collect money for participating." he stops for a while and then, "Hmm... Maybe we can also have all kind of stretches and poses... I saw once a Monk doing all this weird moves. It could become a trend."
