[slight retro for Linar]
Linar lifts his blndfold and sees the petrified figure of a delicately featured elven woman in clerical vestments crouching defensively, her left hip and leg completely broken free and shattered nearby. Upon closer observation, the scroll case in her hand appears to be dull ivory, not stone as it seemed at first glance.
He moves to the statue beyond which is of a short woman, perhaps a halfling, in robes and a cloak. Unfortunately she is missing a head, but her cloak stirs in the gently moving air and a glittering ring produces a hint of inner twinkling on her small finger.
[/end retro]

=====
That's about all he'll have time for with the searching included. He can move to the third statue in his next step when we resolve current actions after Dargon and SQL make their intentions known

Nocturno taps the stone wall, doing his best to keep the creature's attention

[slight retro for Linar, continued]
Intending to share, not hoard, as he passes Linar grabs the unexpected scroll case and stuffs it in his belt.
At the second statue, with a whispered, "Excuse me, madam," the drow sheathes his longsword, pulls off the ring and puts it on the small finger of his left hand before liberating the cloak and flipping that around his neck. He thinks, *Hopefully no curses,* before moving on towards the third statue, while drawing his longsword and refitting the blindfold.

With the kit retreival, I'm fine with it if this takes additional round(s)

Straining to try to make sense of the noises he can hear, Jordek keeps his attention focused on what he can hear and moving as quietly as possibly while attempting to keep close to the minotaur. (hopefully following the large beings breathing if no more vocalizations come.)

As the sound of nails scraping on stone draws nearer, Linar attempts to pry the scroll case from the petrified woman's hand but it becomes evident to do so he will have to break some stone fingers which will take time and make some amount of noise so he moves on. The ring proves easy enough to slip off, as the decapitated mage's hand is spread open palm out in the universal sign for shielding oneself from danger; a motion which appears to have ultimately proved inadequate. The cloak likewise comes free easily and by the time Linar has obtained and donned the objects, the conditions nearby have intensified...

Nocturno taps his sword against the exposed metal portions on his armor making a distinct chink, chink, chink sound. Huffing and shuffling the large lizardlike creature makes its way towards the curiosity... As it rounds the corner and sees the elf it begins to emit a threatening hissing sound, like the air escaping from a hundred wineskins. Though the blinded cannot see, those still hidden and able to view the creature watch it weave and bob it's head back and forth in a predatory manner as if attempting to meet the gaze of the painted eyes on Nocturno's blindfold... The fighter cleric raises his sword to strike...

[Actions and Initiative please!]
=====

So it sounds like Katten and Nocturno are poised to srike, it seems clear that the blindfolded Indendien and Dellinanth plan to approach from behind with spears in an attempt to keep it contained

Blindfold in place the ambidextrous Linar unsheathes his two swords and steps carefully, swords acting as 'feelers', towards the tapping noise.

If he can readily fit through the gap to his NE then Linar will sneak that way. Otherwise it's the long way round to the east and follow the east wall.

Still very unsure of how he can help, Jordek nonetheless orients on Noc's voice and with eyes tightly shut makes his way in that general direction.

[Round 1]

The Basilisk snaps its toothy jaws at Nocturno, but the heavy armor protects the Elf quite well. Jordek creeps closer, Nitt and Witt clinging to him and scurrying about his shoulders and head in excitement. To the south, Linar draws his swords and creeps as carefully as he can towards the sounds of combat; stopping just shy of melee range where it seems certain from his training that the creature must be.

Katten fires twice at the creature, narrowly missing with her first shot and slightly more off with the second. Fortunately the basilisk seems to pay her to mind. The wild Elves hold until the familiar hum of a bowstring sounds twice. They move as one towards the large reptile, shoulder to shoulder. Blindly they stab at the scuffling sounds with their spears. Despite the blindness and chaos of melee, Dellinanth manages to scrape his spearhead against scaly hide hard enough to punch shallowly into flesh. The big lizard's head whips around as it glares balefully behind itself at the elf; but the blindfold keeps their eyes from meeting...

Bull

Moves towards the commotion with eyes shut tightly. Not wanting to injure any of the new found party members he makes his way straight up to the north wall and using a hand feels his way towards the sounds of combat. Sheathing his darts and drawing a broad sword as he goes, keeping his new found buckler at the ready.

[R2]
The reptilian snaps its jaws down hard on Nocturno, only his heavy armor protecting him from harm. It glares at those around it, but all it can see are blindfolded!

Blindly Bullock makes his way to the wall and then tries to circle towards the fight. He bumps unto the statue of the petrified Dillosel, but Katten quickly guides him around so he can make his way towards the fight. He can hear the melee is near as he bumps into another elf. Minotaur? Dellinanth asks the darkness. We will try to make room when we can. The two wild elves stab at the creature, but the darkness and scaly hide prove insurmountable defense for their spears at the moment.

Nocturno and Linar strike at the creature with their swords, but likewise fail to make contact. The crowd of bodies around the Basilisk is growing thick, but the Felis ranger draws her bow and holds. An instant before an opening she looses her arrow and the bodies move just as she anticipated. The arrow flies true, dipping between elven limbs to stab deeply into the creature's belly as it rises to glare at the blinded! Enraged, it gazes into the darkness where the arrow flew from, but cover and the press of bodies keep its eyes from meeting the Ranger's.
