Just making it clear. Katten has no time for humans.. in her eyes they are destroying her forest. No offense, she just has no time for them, or anyone who stands around talking and discussing..

Thanks for the background on Katten. World info here puts humans as the dominate race in numbers (unless I read it wrong); wouldn't opposition to humans be a big issue away from her lands? Why is she venturing away?

Van is pretty accepting as his family's business called him to be open minded. He's out adventuring to gain better experience using his spells in offensive and defensive ways. And to learn new spells- cannot leave that out.

Actually she isn't that far from home, she is just outside of her area of influence. The Goblins are by the pit which her domain borders.

Would it be in opposition with the rest of the world? The humans are in their world and up to now she is in hers.

The Fenris Forest is far more elven than human in population (mostly wild elves aside from some elven cities like Lesoger and Quel Salas). The natives of the forest have a reputation for fiercely defending the woodlands.
The group is in the area between the Fenris Forest and Oakwood. Katten is sworn to protect the forest, and she personally feels men are irresponsible in that regard.

Look on the positive side, imagine if he's the first one to make her realise that not all men are the same. She will.respect him for it.

It's important to note these are all initial reactions. Character development and growth happen after challenges are faced collectively. Katten specifically hates goblins (species enemy) and has no real direct contact with humans to go by.

All good to know- and location helps. I forgot that we were closer to Katten's home. Learning homebrew locations and peoples should help smooth things out.
