Fair enough, if that's how you want to play it.
BishGada wrote:I thought that was what bad charisma means...
It can. It can mean a lot of things. That interpretation, of course, is up to you in the end.

Is it appropriate to add (for Naras):

Become accepted by (and integrate with) the party?
Seek source of cash (to support the Narin temple & extend the soup kitchen project.)
Investigate book (as a means to thwart the Son of Crizza)

By the way, regarding survivors... I thought you said they believe the Slaadi keep some of them alive as incubators for their spawns....

I'd say she already has. Nobody is questioning her presence, at least.
Chris1234 wrote:Investigate book (as a means to thwart the Son of Crizza)
I feel like that falls under 'Thwart the Son of Crizza.'

It is one of their theories to explain why so many people are unaccounted for, yes.

Ouragana's 1)
She has given up on that. Falling for the book's curse disgraced herself so completely in her own eyes that she no longer sees herself as a match for Thaddeus. Especially not against the odds she faces. She tries to focus on her 2) and put him out of her mind. Right now, her path is to be as helpful as possible and by this promote Good in the world.

I just noted that Jaded said that Naishe is secretly a Tiefling.

Nope.

Half-demon fits it better. Probably just the 5e screaming at me, but Tieflings probably had different rules in 2.

Not sure about 5E or any other edition, but in 2E a 'tiefling' is anyone with both mortal and fiend blood (whether it be devil, daemon or demon). Likewise, a 'genasi' is anyone with both mortal and elemental blood and an 'aasimar' is anyone with both mortal and celestial blood.

So whether she's 50/50 human and demon, or only 1/8th demon on her grandmother's side, she'd still be considered a tiefling.

BishGada, when did Baeros hear Thaddeus and Ouragana discuss metamagic? He was out in the shantytown and later, on patrol, when they were talking about it on the Bullring. There's no way he could have overheard them.

Maybe I mixed it up. Sorry. I thought it was discussed when Baeros was on board giving "advise" when they studied the cannon.

Well, no big deal. We can just say that Thaddeus discussed the whole thing with Baeros when he returned to the Bullring, while they were waiting for Gallath to return.

Did someone say Aasimar? Isn't that in a book somewhere?

All plane-touched (aasimar, tieflings and genasi) are from the original Planescape setting, first written in 1994.

So... I see that the planescape thing has a lot of information of tieflings, some on gensai, but really only stat mods for the Aasimar. They get the short end of the stick with their heritage or something? ;)

The Planewalker's Handbook goes into a bit more depth, but yeah...I guess half-angels just aren't as cool as half-demons and half-elementals.

The rain really can't hurt Drav. Maybe if he had a really awful CON, I might rule he could get sick. But his is average, so I wouldn't worry about it. The real threat standing around in the rain exposes you to is equipment damage. Your swords and other metal objects could rust (but only if you don't bother drying them out within two days) and your arrows won't work as well (-1 hit, until they are dried out).

So he should be okay, as long as he remembers to dry out his soaked gear when he's done.

Except the flametounge sword which, if I'm correct, can dry itself off just fine.

It would have been fun to see an Aasimar, but well.. no one likes them apparently. Not even the people who wrote them up

Funny you should mention that...
