"I think I can help with that," the woman says. She quickly puts together an outfit for Drav that is appropriate for the tropical climate. It consists of a short-sleeved, open collar shirt and some trousers. How much it costs depends on what kind of material Drav wants them made from.

Val starts at the docks, starting with the bigger ship looking for a Mage that isn't preoccupied with other activities. She is willing to negotiate and proudly carries her new glass trident.

If all goes well, she will go visit Hubert.

"Pastor Blaine," Jocelyn corrects the dwarf before pausing in her steps. She looks over her shoulder to Naras. "You are not on friendly enough terms to address me by my first name, Kohen," she points out. "And do you honestly believe that a Priestess of Octhanus would have something to do with the disappearance of the previous Kohen?" she asks. She finally turns back around to face Naras, but looks over to Leena. "How much is it, normally, to remove a curse?" she asks.

The dwarf thinks, ~This grumpy young woman is too much. Ego triumphs over intelligence.~

"Leena, be about your business, thank you. Pastor Blaine, you have had my apology and you shall not have it again. You do not rule here, and you are being unfriendly. You may either leave or remain silent while I would talk to your friends, if they wish this curse removed."

"As Pastor Blaine has failed to remove the curse, I suspect it to be a Greater Curse. With Pastor Blaine's refusal to provide any details about the curse it is difficult to be sure though. If I am correct, I believe it can be removed but it is difficult. Do you wish it to be removed in this House of Gonto? If so, would one of you be willing to tell me about it?"

She thinks, ~Maybe Blaine's scared people will think Gonto is better than Octhanus. That's so stupid; they're just different.~

Ouragana looks from Naras to Jocelyn and back during there exchange, feeling ever more helpless. Was that stupid quarrel going to mean there was no help for her? when Jocelyn turns to Leena, she tugs Nara's sleeve. "The kohen we set out with a few years ago was an old man, not a woman, and he returned with us" Ouragana says earnestly. "So there must have been another kohen, a woman, since then, because you say >she<."

Hastily, she adds: "What happened to me is simply explained. I read in a book. It said >who reads this does not deserve to do magic<. Then my mind lost everything needed to do magic. That happened a few days ago."

The kohen nodded, "Thank you, Ouragana. That is sufficient to confirm that it is a Greater Curse. I'm sure I can help you."

"How much is it, normally, to remove a curse?" she asks.

"Two hundred gold pieces," Leena answers.

"Leena, be about your business, thank you."

"Very well," Leena says stiffly. She leaves the room, stepping outside.

Val Urgan (Harbor, docks)
Val manages to track down an elven woman storm sorceress who is on shoreleave for the day. She agrees to identify Val's items for a price of 1,000 gold pieces per item or item function. What does she want identified?

Drav Arellax (Marketplace, tailor shop)
Drav purchases a red velvet shirt and some tan wool trousers. He looks pretty good in them. Well, his hair is a mess and he hasn't bathed in over a week. And his leather belt and boots are over 35 years old, so in rough shape, as well. But at least he's not walking around half-naked anymore.

(OOC: Drav spends 4 GP and 2 SP on a new outfit.)

"Ouragana, keep in mind that a Kohen is the same thing as a Pastor," Jocelyn says. She decides to simply ignore Naras at this point. "So, if I couldn't remove it, then there is a good chance that she can't remove it either," she explains. "Now, if you can wait a little bit longer, Saren in Mond can probably remove it, and since he is a follower of Octhanus, he'll do it without asking for payment of any kind."

"The knowledge gained in the removal of a Greater Curse is payment enough. We do not require your coin," Naras says.

"It will be years before this temple can afford the exorbitant rates for Identify. One item is a wand of fire and I know its command words but beyond that I have made no progress. We will wait," she adds with a shrug.

"Ouragana, if you wish the curse to be removed in this House then you have but to say so. Nothing more, nothing hidden. But it would require willing assistance from your Pastor."

Ouragana looks from Naras to Jocleyn, clearly not understanding what is happening between them, not knowing what to do. Her lips begins to tremble, she bites on them but can't stop it. Her eyes fill with tears. "Please, stop quarrelling and help me!" she whispers between sobs.
