Looking around for her, Gallath finds she has moved on from the rigging to one of the heavy crossbows on the port side of the ship. She appears to be inspecting it for damage.

Walk over and offer to help. Start small talk while helping.

Gallath approaches the woman. Hearing him approach, she looks up and gives him a smile. "Why, hello there, handsome. Something you need?" she asks in a friendly manner.

"Hi there. No, I just figured if we're going to be on this ship for (OOC: However long until we get there) , I just figured that I should get to know the crew, so I just figured I start with you" he says.

"Well, I'm honored you would choose me first," the woman says playfully. "I'm Naishe, by the way," she adds, offering her hand. Now that Gallath can see her from the front and up close, he's able to take in significantly more detail. She's quite beautiful, with piercing hazel eyes. She's adorned with jewelry, including golden earrings and a small golden stud just under her lip. Her hair is pulled back by a bandanna with very intricate designs embroided on it. "And you are?" she asks.

My name is Gallath. I'm headed to the island to research the local fauna. It's going to be dangerous, so I brought some arms for protection. So, do you like your job?" he asks.
(OOC: Where do you get these beautiful pictures?)

"Charmed to meet you, Gallath," she replies. "As for my job, well...it's alright. I love being out at sea, but what I'd really like is to one day captain my own ship. No, maybe even a whole fleet of ships. But I suppose everyone has to start somewhere, yes?" she asks with a wink.

"Of course." he says. "Lovely to meet you too" He says, giving her a wink. He goes off and talks to the other crew who are not too busy.

Looking around, Gallath sees a few crewmen who are not too busy.
There's the captain and the first mate, of course. He also sees a human male with red hair wearing robes, an old dwarf male in fancy clothes with a patch over one eye, two old sea salts (a human and a dwarf) that seem to be having an argument over something, a female dwarf wearing a grease-splattered apron, and a male half-elf with a goatee. Everyone else looks rather engrossed in their work.

I go over and speak to the half-elf. "Hello there my good man. How goes it?"

"Hello," the half-elf says warily. "I am Javos, who are you?" he asks.

"Hello Javos. I am Gallath. How are you this fine morning?" he says.
(OOC: Sorry it took so long, I was busy with Thanksgiving.)

"Worried," Javos admits with a frown. "We're heading to Mond, and I hear there's been trouble brewing there. I hope we don't get caught up in it. They say the League is spreading discord all over the island."

"Nothing more than terrorists, if you ask me. Where are we docking?"

"In the city of Deimos," Javos answers. "It's on the southern shore of the island and is one of the larger towns on the island. It's probably also the safest place on the island, but I can't but feel apprehensive nonetheless."
