The woman smiles patiently. "Paladine is the name humans gave him. Eli is his true name," she says. Picking up the weapon, she looks it over idly. "Not a hoopak, but it is my soris. Although there are many who claim that the kender hoopak was based on the soris. It is possible, they are similar in design, and both serve as multiple weapons and tools in one."

She places the weapon back where it was. "Yes, I am one of the kirath. Our job is to reclaim the land that was cursed or infested with evil. It has been twenty five years, but the land is not fully ours again just yet. But it will be soon, especially with our new king's help."

[Jenara]

"I am one of his Clerics, well I will be one day." She puts her hand to her mouth. "Ohhh I forgot.." She giggles, "Don't worry."

She gives the weapon a glance. "Sorry I don't really know much about your people, only stories that my own people tell of Silvanesti. But you try to reclaim the land? Is it true its like a nightmare?"

"It once was," she says. "And in some areas, still is. Other areas are not cursed, but infected with evil creatures like draconians, goblins and their ilk."

After a pause to sip her drink, she asks, "I heard your companions speak of slaying a dragon. Is this true?"

[Jenara]

"Yes, we did, well it was Dragon under the sea, and it was so much fun. We had help from Elves, well underwater elves. Have you heard of them? They turned into sea otters and it was so much fun." Locky glances around looking for her own drink.

"They are everywhere you know? We found some in the desert, silly draconians." Suddenly going serious she taps the bar, "Its a shame, your land sounds like it was beautiful once."

"I'll take some water and a salad too," Imani says to the bartender before she walks over to the elf and Locky. "She isn't bothering you, is she?" Imani asks. "She has a habit of introducing herself to random people."

"Me?" Locky asks a little hurt, putting her hand to her chest.

Imani puts her hand on Locky's shoulder. "I mean nothing by it," she says. "We just need to start being a little more careful," she explains.

The elf looks at Imani carefully, as if sizing her up. "It's no issue. You are the one who slew the dragon, yes? What manner of enchantments do you carry on you blade?"

[Jenara]

"I am careful!" Locky exclaims, "Meet ... Sorry I don't know your name, she helps to free this place, to keep it safe."

"This is Imani." She adds.

"None," Imani says to the elf as she pulls out her blades to show the woman. They are simple scimitars.

"Aleaha of House Takmarin," she says, daintily gesturing to herself. She looks at the scimitars, and raises a single eyebrow in surprise. "You slew a dragon with an ordinary steel blade? That is impressive. Especially for a human."

"I did what needed to be done," Imani says. Yes, she was proud that she was able to slay a dragon of all things, but she didn't much like taking all the praise for it. Something about it made her a little uneasy. "If I had not done so, then we most likely would be dead. That isn't acceptable right now," she admits.

Aleaha's lip curls slightly into a smirk. "Is it ever acceptable to be eaten by a dragon?" she asks.

[HorizonsDream]

"No, probably not," Imani says with a shrug. "I'm simply saying that death wasn't an option for me due to my other responsibilities."

"I am the same way," Aleaha says.

The bartender, meanwhile, has retrieved the party's food and drink and brought it to their table. Normally, asking for water to drink is a bad idea, unless you like it dirty. That is why most people prefer ale or wine, as the fermenting process usually cleans it up better than water. But that is not the case here. The water is completely and perfectly clear. Likewise, the fruit and vegetables brought are crisp and fresh as if they had been picked just moments ago.
